i have a little bit of money, 18, working, i feel like the savings account could be a good idea. but im really interested in making money with my money. any suggestions? what kind of investments can i make ? or should i just stick to the savings account.

Ok, so the rules changed and unless you are married then your boyfriend/fiance cannot claim your children, right? So, let's say we get married mid november, maybe december. When taxes roll around will he be able to claim my children then? Or does a certain amount of time have to pass after being married? And the children's father will NOT claim them. That's not a problem. Thanks for your help.

I don't mean to offend anyone in the business field. It just seems that most products and services have been devised by scientific minds; and that business people just sort of "sell" the creation. What is stopping scientists and engineers from selling their own creations? What role do business people play that the scientists cannot play themselves??

Okay, so here's the story. I went to my ATM Sunday to withdraw some money to go to the grocery store. The atm rejected my card so I called to find out how much I had in the bank. Well, I was stunned to hear that my acount is a negative $7500.00. I never in my life have that much money (I'm 22 years old). The only amount that should be in there is $500.

After I checked who could have made such a huge error. Then I found out it was Citibank. They made a check out to themselves for $8000. This bank was supposed to loan me this amount not withdraw. I needed to pay off my debts. A month ago however they denied my request for this loan. I recieved the letter and I still have it.

I opened a checking account with them this how they gained access to my account. It doesn't make any sense. Instead of giving me the loan, they stole money which I didn't have. I'm afraid I might get arrested.

What should I do?
