I quit my job at a local video store because I got paid minimum wage and their were no benefits to my position. I really needed to get health insurance and I was told that I would never be eligible to get it. So I got a different job that paid me a little more money and gave me full benefits. At first I hated the job, because the people were horrible and I didn't seem to be making anymore money then my old job. I stuck it out and things seem to be getting somewhat better, even if it is not my style of job. But today I got a call from my old employer and they want me back. Their willing to match my pay and gurantee me at least 28 hours; however I still won't be given health insurance. At my old job an employee had to be considered full-time to get health insurance and my former boss still will not make the effort to give me a full-time postion. Should I go back to my old job or stay at my new one?

I hate them on so many levels. Any one see the documentary awhile back on "The high cost behind the low price." or similiarly titled. That just made my soap box even bigger!
Come on people RANT! Rant at me for hating that evil cooperation if your so inclined. My soap box is bigger than you.

My wife and I both have bad credit, I had bankrupt. in 2001 (discharged in 2002) And I have about $25k way over due in student loans. My credit score is about 580. My wife has a credit score of around 520, she only has credit cards that were late. How can we get a home with no money down?

im 17 and plan to join the army and become a warrent officer and fly a helli the becoming a W/O is the fast way for me to start flying so thats why i want army ive already flown a plain and helli an hour each and enjoyed the helli alot more if i fly then i have to stay in for 6 years so i want to stay in untill i retire and then ill be able to do whatever with a helli then im out cus ill have some many hours. i want to fly a cargo or transport helli but not a gun ship so ill know how to fly a big helli and be used to anything smaller. any advice?

I want to manufacture candles, and I've got everything set up except I don't know how to get stores to buy them. I was considering a few of the small family owned stores along the highway, and a wholesaler in the county... I wanted to send like an e-mail with a picture of the product with my costs and stuff... any other suggestions and thoughts would be great, i know i'm forgetting a few things. =)
BTW: I just plan on making everything in my garage, i shouldn't need any special zoning, and if a store asks, do i tell them?

I received a card in the mail from 1 First National Card when I did not request it. I have not activated this card, I know that this company is a scam... My question is.. if I never activate my card, will they still be able to scam me? I have read reports of them withdrawing money from people's account when they never use the card. If I never activate it, will they still be able to do so?

I missed work Friday due to illness. I got a doctors note which was what they wanted. I missed 4 days this year due to my son being sick(he is disabled and gets sick alot). I have gotten doctors notes when they've asked. I got a verbal "talking to" but not told that was a verbal"warning" and nothing written. If I am fired for attendance issues can I fight it saying I was never given an official warning for it and I had doctors notes???

I am asked to calculate Terminal Year Cash Flows. But I am not sure what information is needed to find this information. Can anyone tell me what information is needed and how this information is to be formed into an equation in order to find this. I have to leave job for which I did not have time to notify my employer 2 weeks before I quit. My planes changed so fast. I have to quit immidiately, but I I still have my shift schedule for tommorow. I work at Starbucks as barista. Should I make call and tell them that my car broke and cannot come and later send or call them that I quit. OR shut I just call and tell them I am done. Which option is best for me (not employer). I know it is not nice to lie, but I have to move to another location (as I go to college). And besides I was neither always treated there with respect. What would you tell?
