Banks normally want a driver's license or an ID from the driver's license office. You can get an ID from the DMV without getting a driver's license. You can also use a passport picture should you have one.

You don't have a drivers license?

Either get an ID card or a driver's license. You will need it anytime you write a check or make a withdrawal, you might as well get it now

************* If you are not old enough to get a driver's license, then I'm not sure you can open an account solely in your name.

I have never heard of an bank requiring 2 picture ID's. Are you certain about this? Normally, one picture ID and a non-picture ID (social security card) are OK.

A passport or state id would work too as well as a driver's license.
