Where I worked, we charged $3.00 per monthly statement, some places may charge $5.00 per statement.
If you need the statements to qualify for government programs, mention this to the bank manager, your fees may be waived (depending on what it is and your bank's policies).

You might have to wait several days to several weeks to get the statements. The banks archive the statements.

If you can, you should go to your bank, ask to talk with the manager, and explain what you need and why. The more open you are, the more likely the manager will want to help you...and give you a break on the fees.

Go down to the bank in person and ask to see bookkeeping and just ask. Be prepared to show ID.
