1)Is the customer actually getting a good deal from this?
2)Does the customer actually end up paying less than they would normally (once the rebate has been sent in)?
3)How could the company possibly benefit from this?
4)Or does the store jack the price up before the rebate and then put a rebate on it so that the final price after rebate ends up being the same as it normally would?
5)What makes mail in rebates enticing?

Hi

In accounts, when a cashier's order is issued, it is taken as 'PAID' but what about issuing cheques? Is the status in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system taken as 'ISSUED' or 'PAID'? If it is definitely 'ISSUED', what is the rationale? What about 'PAID'?

Thanks

This guy loses money and paperwork, puts them in wrong places or even in the trash. He once told me he likes to take "as long as possible" to do the job--and takes twice as long as anyone else to do anything. He wrote a note to the Employee Dining Room Mgr complaining that there was no "F-ing bread"! He couldn't get the tills out/tills in to match, and went to the restaurant and accused the cashiers of hiding one of the tills and yelled at them that they were liars--in front of customers! Everyone in our dept has to give him directions all day long. We are disgusted that he is getting paid to do almost nothing. I am the unofficial spokesperson for the rest of my co-workers, and I have explained to the boss many times how much we want him gone, but he's still there. He doesn't need the money, he owns apt buildings and probably gets Social Security and/or military retirement, so why do the rest of us have to do most of the work while he skates along and gets paid for it?

I live in the retirement state, Florida. I am on Disability, SSI, and Widows Pension. I know this is nobodys business, but mine. But this is also warning other people, before they decide to move here in SW Florida. All I get is a total of $583.00 a month and $10.00 in Food Stamps. My rent alone is $301.00 (housing). And since I live in Fl. A/C is a must, and my electric bills are between 100.00-150.00 a month. Not to mention my other bills. I just can't seem to make ends meet. I need to get out of this state fast.. Please help with some answers.

This is insane.

they say that there is no early pay penalty so im going to try to kills this loan by the end of this year.
It is 16.5k loan. 36 months for 550 or around there. I forgot what they said.

rent is free for me, i have a used car that will sell for 5k, i have about 3g's in the bank. i should just kill this loan asap huh.

the reason why i want to get the car now is because the guy is selling his 2004 tsx for pretty cheap. For about 16.5k. Which I think is a pretty nice deal. Im going to do an inspection tommorow but another plan was maybe getting a credit union loan and kill off my 16.5k loan immiedately. My credit score is 685. Know a place with better rate hopefully?

Well, I am a sixteen year old guy. I've never had any job experience besides that of which I volunteered to work in a concession stand twice. Let's just say I never want to eat nachos again. I am a good student and have a 3.75 GPA. I don't want my job to interfer with my school, and I also don't want it to take too large of a chunk out of my free time. Should I get a job or not? There are some things I really want, and my dad CAN'T pay for it all...

I happened to attend a BWW (brit worldwide)/ Quixtar. In this meeting they talked about making a lot of money in a very short period of time. However, they never told how, or doing what. What really surprise me was that the people who were there claimed to be teachers, engineers or even doctors. I don't why a doctor with a very good yearly income would go there. It does not make sense. What do you think?

I have had someone suggest to me that they feel that ALONG WITH it just being a "soft" market that maybe the R.E. agents are not making it any better by doubling your trouble and underpricing your home by 10K to 20K so that they may get your home to sell quicker and therefore they get their cut quicker.
If they sell only a few homes at the price that the owner actually wants to list at...it may take a little longer and therefore more of their time and effort is spent to actually earn that big share of the proceeds... then they might get money but not as much as if they undervalued your home in a CMA by 10K or more so that Yes it will sell a a bit quicker, but that's because you are practically giving it away at the price they suggest you sell at. For them it means they can sell 20+ homes a month and get more money than if they did it the way (previously mentioned) and get some money.
Their thinking "Sell one peach for $20 or 20 for $8 a piece". $160.
Any thoughts on this?

I just turned 13 years old. I heard that my cousin who is one month younger than me opened up her own business by giving manicures/pedicures/and massages to family/friends and charging them money. I want to do the same thing, but I want to sell beaded bracelets that I make to friends, family, and people who just like beaded stuff. Are there any good websites that will teach me how to make my own little business? For free.

From what i understand these are laws that stop corporations from having a monopoly of whatever business there in. Is this right? So what do they do if a corporation has a monopoly, and how do they determine if its a monopoly?

Also, do antitrust laws apply to privately owned companies? If i had a privately owned company could i legally monopolize everything?

I was wondering if anybody else has ever gotten a random letter in the mail that asks you to make copies of it and send it to 200 random people. "not friends". Included in those 200 are 6 letters to people listed on the bottom of one of the letters. You send those 6 people $1.00 and replace the bottom name on the list with your own so on your 200 mailings those people will send you $1.00 and so on. If 7.5% of the 200 do the same thing you should receive $15.00. After those 15 people send out 200 letters each you will get $225.00. Thats also 7.5 percent .and that process is repeated, and the results get bigger as it goes along until your name drops pff the list after 6 mailings. I know this is a little confusing but I was wondering if anybody ever tried it and what the results were?

I know a great deal about web and graphic design so I can advertise myself. I can actually get started up on a thousand dollars. Where can I find a source for grant money that best fits my needs?
