i am a concil tenent and want to find out about contents insurance

Does anyone know who can provide this? Most home insurance offers free legal expenses cover, but non of them include family law expenses. I would be interested to buy this insurance if I could find out who offers it! Searches on the internet only relate to the bog standard cover. Please help!

I am asking my question another way... my aunt is a dental assistant for an oral surgeon. she uses her bilingual skills to communicate the specific medical/dental care to these spanish speaking patients. she's been in the field for 13 years, but working for this her current employer for 3 or so years and hasn't been compensated for this. She is now up for her salary review and since she's proved how valuable this can be to him, she is asking for compensation adjustment for this interpreting service on top of her dental assisting skills. She lives in the Bay Area, CA and probably makes $17-18 and hour with benefits too. What type of a premium should she be making for her bilingual skills? She is trying to narrow down the $ amount or % she should be asking for.

I'm looking to buy a property that would be classified as commercial, but I'm going to live in it. The loan officer is asking for:

W2s for the past 2 years
2 recent pay stubbs
2 recent bank statements
information on my present landloard

Is this typical?

Mom had Alzheimer's. She moved in with my sister. Mom contributed $400 per month. When Mom couldn't be alone at all, I moved home from out of state to be full time caregiver. I left my home in the care of my son.

I contributed $300 per month. We were like three peas in a pod, . Mom lasted for slightly over two yrs.

I sold my home and opted to stay. The question now is what is fair.

Sister owns the home, has the equity, the tax deductions (and the responsibility). I rent a room and share the expenses.

1/2 the household bills including mortgage but not food, comes to just under $500. I contribute $700.

She cleans corners with q-tips, I blow off the dust. She is a gourmet cook, I'm content with cereal. We differ on many things. She commented that I would have to pay over $1,000 for an efficiency apt. She would like me to contribute more. (She can't afford house without me.)

We need guidance so neither one feels resentful.

My husband left NY on 7/20/07 and I have not hurd from him since 7/28/07.Last I know he was in Mobil,AL from tracking his credit card spennding on line.That was on 8/03/07.He has alredy maxed out 2 of his credit cars to be over drawn more than $800. He will not take to me or anyone bake home in NY.He has no income coming in and my name is not on his credit cards.Legale what am I responsable for?

I have a colour laser printer and am wondering if it would be cheaper for me to do my own business cards. I am running Office 2007 which has some pretty decent designs on there and I can't say I need 1000's of the things. What do you think? Will decent card cost me more to buy than doing a run of business cards at a printers?

Telemarketing has made a great comeback. I have long been on the "Do Not Call" list, but I am getting a large number of calls from area code 866 and 111, as well as others, and these are solicitations for credit cards and other products.

To whom do I report these calls?

I read many answers to these kind of questions but still not sure.
For example there is IPO that suppose to be sold around $20.
Tdameritrade say i can put day/limit order in the day before the IPO goes on market, or purchase them when they go on secondary market.

Do I just call a broker up a put a day/limit order at $20? or do I have to put it higher bid?

Tdameritrade say I can trade online when the stock goes on secondary market. is that same thing as launching date of IPO?

My college is a bunch of twits that cant figure out how to process financial aide being that I put my application in in May and they are just now figuring stuff out. THey say I should get it this week but if I dont get it by friday I have to pay half my tuition out of pocket and I dont have that money. This royaly stinks so I thought about asking my boss for a loan and letting him have the reciept of my tuition as a tax write off kind of as a thanks for loaning me the money. He is such a sweet heart though if I tell him he can write it off he will probably just give me the money. I just need to know if he is allowed to write if off so that I can present the idea to him in a formidable manner.

I have two rental properties in California. Previously I lived
in one of them, and rented out the other. Earlier this year,
I moved to Texas and rented both of the Calif houses out.
The only mortgage is on the Calif property, I have none in Tx.

Now one of my renter's is moving. My question is: If I have to travel back to Calif to clean, run an add, sign off with a new renter or whatever, what -if any- of this can be used as a business expense on my taxes? And would the rent be considered California income, or is it all business income?

I appreciate the serious answers.
