744 is GOOD.... However your credit score is based on all three agencies and taking the MIDDLE score. The highest is 850 but the average American is below 650!

Just keep paying your bills ON TIME, never cancel cards and use them at least once a year and pay off to maintain good HISTORY. Also keep balances on the card at or below 30%.

All of these things INCREASE your score.

there not much of a difference between the two. If some one was looking into your credit history say for you to get a loan, these two will usually come up. There is a 3rd one as, sometimes called transatlantic they use as well. Most of the time each one will have a different credit score, mostly pretty close yet not the same. They use these 3 to deterime what your score should be. If one has you at 650 and another has 625 and the last one at 675 they get an idea of how your are as a client to their loans.

Last I checked 760 was considered EXCELLENT. I am assuming your mean a FICO score. If you mean a score using a different formula, you need to specify the formula are EVERY answer you get will be wrong.

ANGEL Baby: Actually the average FICO score is 675.

744 is awesome!

It would amaze you how many people have scores that are lower. Just keep paying your bills on time.

Only 13% of Americans have scores higher than 800, so if you get over 800, you're in the top tier.

All companies that view your credit will have their own level at which they will grant credit so it`s not standard. One company could grant credit but another could turn the same person down.
