A homeowner in my community installed a fence that was not to the exact guidelines of the HOA with the HOA approval. When I applied to install the same fence, the HOA denied it saying that the fence is not approved for the community. Doesn't approving the fence for one homeowner set a precedent for others?

I did this at the beginning of June. I decided not to move in with her and told her this at the beginning of July and now she's saying that I have to pay for July's rent. She had asked me for July's rent and said that I had to sign the lease again to get my name off of it. She sent her boyfriend to get the check and I never signed the lease. 3 weeks later, the check still hadn't gone through and she never made me sign the lease, so I put a stop payment on it. Now, she's saying that her landlord is evicting her cause my check didn't go through. Am I obligated to pay for July's rent? What's the worst that could happen if I didn't?

I want to buy a house for me and my daughter. I am still legally married so in the state of Texas I have to have my "husband" sign with me. I can't qualify for the house without the help of his credit. He is thinking that since he is signing with me and he vowed to lend me some of the cost for the repairs that when we sell the house it should be split to him 70-30% in his favor. He will be out of the country for 2 years and I am paying for the mortgage and doing all of the repair work. Why should he get the higher cut? If anything, he is only entitled to 50% and his repair costs right?

Hey guys...I'm kinda scared because I got hired at a clothing retail store about a month ago...showed up to each day on time and did my work....but lately some stressful stuff has taken place (with girls--I'm 17 years old), and I guess it got to me. I was scheduled Saturday (yesterday) at 8 AM to 2 PM. I thought that I was scheduled for TODAY at 8 AM, so yesterday I didn't show up, and when I woke up today and went there, the manager was like..."Are you scheduled today?" And I was like, "Yep, 8 to 2". She then proceeds to tell me that it was yesterday and that it's OK that I didn't show up, just next time make sure to get the schedule right....but I'm still sort of scared. I'm the youngest person that works there, and I don't really need to jeopardize my position. I really don't know what the heck happened.....some words of comfort?

how much money will it cost for us to refinance after we've bought a house with no money down? we want to put an offer and and are approved by our bank- we get married in 2 months in which case we'll want to refinance our mortgage with the bank as we will have a bit of money to put down.

I have a 3 BR house which is currently let out.I wish to purchase another 3 BR house in liverpool area.I intend to live here for 3-4 years and then sell both properties.
I am told I may have to pay tax on the first property if I am not staying in it at the time of selling.
Is there any way out of it,or how long do I need to stay in it for me to avoid paying tax/minimise it ,or can my wife and kids stay there for a while just before selling it

I bought a house the last of may and my garage and attic is still FULL of stuff the previous owner has. He keeps telling me he is coming to move it . And that he can't afford a storage building. And where he is moving it he is waiting for a guy to move his stuff to make room. When I say stuff I mean truckloads of junk. How long should I wait? Also one of the items is a hot tub. It is wired to the house does it go with the house or can he take it? It was never put in the contract he was taking it. I'm tired of all this crap and just want it removed. Does anyone from the state of virginia have any experence in this? Do I need to just get a lawyer to settle this?

I have 74.21 euros and online, it told me i could get 101.27 u.s dollars for it. the conversion at this very moment is 1 Euro to 1.36 USD.
