Is it possible? I could avoid the toy sections which our about 100% MADE IN CHINA, but what about the food? I heard on the radio that 85% of garlic and broccoli are coming from there now. And also pharmaceuticals? 99% of vitamin C comes from China. The stuff that does say MADE IN USA, doesn't actually mean it is. It could be 100% made in China which was assembled in California. Has anyone been able to compile a list to stay away from Chinas shipments? I have nothing against the good citizens of China but I hate their communistic agendas and the government in

My son is 21 years old, he is not disabled. He lived with me for all of 2006. He made less 3300 dollars in '06 and I provided more than half of his support. His father and I have been divorced since '95 and I am now remarried. In the divorce decree it says that his father claims him for tax purposes. However, did that expire when my son turned 18?
The only thing that holds me up is the decree. Turbo Tax says yes if it wasn't for the decree.

I'm trying to repair my credit score, and my by the time I am done paying for my truck it will be worthless. I just need to know on average what a repossession will do to my credit score? I'm already late on payments, and will have to continue to make the payments for a average of another 5 years, and by the time its paid for, it will SERIOUSLY be useless. Help if you can!

My school has really gone downhill and I can't stand it anymore. I am going to carry it out though, and (hopefully) get my A Levels, I've just done my AS levels. But, because I hate it so much, I really don't think I want to go to university anymore. I'd rather go out and work. I've thought this for a long time and now that I am actually having to look at and apply for universities I feel a lot more strongly about it. What jobs can I get (not like mcdonalds or anything) without a degree?

My 4 children were removed from my home back in October of last year. They will not be returned until sometime in September at the earliest. My question is, Since that would only have them living under my roof for about 3-4 months of this year, can I still claim them on my taxes as dependents. My parental rights were never taken away, they were just temperary wards of the State.

Recently I went for a job interview - the interview was arranged through an employment agency. I interviewed and was passed over for the job. No biggie.

But I was later told by my recruiter that the interviewer had a lot of harsh personal criticism of me as rationale for her decision not to hire me.

Although I was disappointed not to get the job offer, what really peed me off was what this person said about me in front of my recruiter because, while it's one thing not to offer someone a job, it's a whole different story to bad-mouth their character in front of a recruiter and (in the process) possibly sabotage their chances at future jobs that may crop up.

Was I within my right to write a letter of protest to the interviewer's manager?

My wife places top priority on proximity to good schools and I am trying to find a place wiith a short commute to work.
We have one kid who will enter the school system next year (elem. school) so we absolutely need a good elem. school, and there is plenty of them close of work. My wife wants the house to have good middle schools as well, that will drive us a lot farther away from my work.

Do we need to worry about good middle schools now when we will need them 10 years down the road? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
P.S. we are looking in the Seattle east side area.

I've been with a compnay for a couple of years now and am SERIOUSLY under paid, however I love the company and the people and am the best guy there. A friend of mine has an uncle that has offered me a job making over twice the money plus insurrance and what not for almost the same kind of work.

Do I quit the job I love with great people for double the money?
