At the moment the British post office are offering commission free exchange rates. We are looking to exchange some sterling for euros. Does anyone know if the PO keep euro's in stock, or do we have to order them from them?

I have just started doing some real estate on the side. I recently got a comission check for about $6000. After paying a few things I know have about $4000. My husband and I would love to buy a house in the next year or so and this would be great to put towards a down payment (a low priced house would be about 400,000).
Should we use this money to save or pay off 2 bills we have a personal loan that has 1100 left on it, we pay 75 a month and the interest rate is 9.9%. We also owe 2200 for our sons cord blood banking. We pay 49 a month and the interest is 11.9%.
We also have my car loan which is about 14000, but I think we will leave that for now.
I was thinking we could take the 49 and 75 that we usually pay in bills every month and save it. I also thought if we pay these things off, it will improve our credit and hopefully get us a better mortgage.
What do you think?

Ok, we have a new baby on the way and a 16 month old son now. Our son's room is currently a pastel blue (like baby powder blue) and we know since the housing market is horrible- that our house may not sell for quite a while. So we wanted to make our new baby's nursery as cute & comfy as possible while we are there. We would actually like to paint it sage green (like a very light mint color) so when we find out the sex we can just add blues or pink accessories to the room instead of painting. The rest of our house is already whites and tans with neutral carpeting and wood and tile floors. The question is: Do you think with a powder blue room and a sage green room, our house will sell? Any opinions would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.

Since I just "inherited" these stocks, I cannot provided any receipts for buyers. The razors are sealed in its original container. They are the standard type of razors (w/o lubricating strips).

My wife and I are selling a two-family home, one unit in which we have also lived for the past seven years. We plan to purchase a one-family home. Our capital gains will be about $400,000. We plan on using this gain as the down payment for the new house. Is this considered a 1031 exchange? Will the sale of the two-family home be considered just capital gain because it is our primary residence?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The big 3 Google, Microsoft and Yahoo! are definitely doing all it takes to get everything under one roof and this has escalated into an online war.

But somewhere, something is definitely missing, the next big idea could be anything.

So what according to you is missing on the internet today?

I was in a car wreck 2 months ago. It was the other guy's fault, so his insurance company paid for damages, and took care of medical bills for my 2 children.
At the time of the wreck, I didn't seek medical attention.
Now 2 months later, after the wreck, I find myself having severe panic attacks. I have a fear of being run over again , and again, at every intersection that I cross, because of the wreck I had.
I am in constant fear of driving, and my panic attacks are so severe, that my hands clintch the steering wheel, and someone has to pry them off. I hyperventilate that bad.
I have called the insurance company, and left a message as to what is going on, and no one will call me back. What do I do?
This car wreck has caused this, I know it is not a physical injury, my question is wouldn't the insurance be responsible for my emotional turmoil?
I was told I have 2 years to file on medical claims, is this true? I haven't signed off on any medical claims.

I am filing chapter 7 bankruptcy. I was orginally going to keep my car which I love. I still owe about $7000 , which is about two years of payments. And it's insurance is pretty high because it's a newer sports car. My dad recently gave me a old car, that runs good and is paid off with cheaper insurance. Should I surrender my car and keep the one he gave to save money. PS My car is not worth $7000.

Obviously, people over 50 years old will pay a high premium--but is there a company out there that won't "soak the customer" , and at the same time are a reputable company ?

In closing--I am not a fan of the 'colonial penn' type deals that plaster their commercials over the television.

I am a nurse at a Peds hospital and I LOVE what I do there, but the commute takes and hour. So I cut my hours back to part time there and started to work in an ER that is just minutes from my house. Only problem is, I hate the ER by my house and I just want to quit. I have given it a month and things aren't getting better. So, should I quit the ER by my house, and just pick up more hours at the part time gig, or should I hang in there a little longer?
