What would you suggest is the best way to do this? I have 500 bucks I'd like to invest and see grow very well within a year.

I am living in Taipei, Taiwan, where I have been for 3 years. I want to come home to the United States (Rhode Island) and wonder if it is possible to find work before arriving (This is the most important/pressing concern) So my question is - how do I get a job before coming home? Also, are there support services - information for ex-pats who are returning home after a long absence? Thank you all.

we are married filing jointly. our only income is standard employment income paid by our employers, and taxes are dediucted from our pay check. we have exemptions set at zero. yet, it looks like we will owe $4k! If i have taxes set to take out maximum per pay check how can I possibly still owe? I'm confused.

I used my personal vehicle about 35% for business use for a partnership. I was not reimbursed for any of this. How can I deduct this on my partnerships taxes? Can I use the standard mileage rate and deduct it on the Depreciation and Amortization form?

I was a barmaid, and complained to my employers that a man was continually grabbing my bottom and my breasts while I tried to do my job. Nothing was done, and I was told that I had to continue to serve him. My partner had a polite word with the gentleman a few days later, when it became apparent that the customer was not going to stop. I was then chastised by my employer for 'having my boyfriend come to work with me'. I was told that its my responsibility to deal with gropey perverts, but was not allowed to be rude, bar them or retaliate in any way. This took place yesterday. Today I was fired because being 'an attractive woman with large breasts would always attract that sort of attention, and they can't wrap me in cotton wool'. They fired me because they think I'm too soft and can't take men looking at me and making rude comments. The leers and the pervy remarks I can take, its the grabbing and touching that I don't think I have to put up with. Any thoughts?

What is considered taxable income? How much earned income does one have to earn to be considered taxable income? And what does this have to due with claiming the child tax credit. i have read and read on the internet but can not make any since of it. i have went to the irs website and although they have alot of info none of it make since to me. If any one has any info i would be grateful. The reason I am asking is because i thought i was going to be able to bring back that credit but I'm told I'm not and that i will recieve only 68 dollars of the additional tax credit. (I do understand the additional tax credit). Thanks!

examples of which is like when your doing something and you want to have a break within the next two hours, a ringer or a buzz would be heard, telling you that it's time for a break..i'm a very busy person and i want to have a 15 minute break every after two hours and i never thought that i was working for four hours straight. which made me fell more stressed and tired.
