I'm a Singaporean Chinese with a Masters degree in English Language Education. I can speak English, Mandarin and French fluently. My forte is really in teaching English but I know most schools want to hire only teachers who are native speakers of English.

I'm buying a motorcycle on yahoo classifieds the bike is in cali. the pictures of the bike have a background of hialeah and the man selling it is in london. He wants me to send western union to a man in london through www.forwarders-pvt-ltd.com. As a Senior Account Manager in the UK, working for a top ad agency with 5 years experience, how much should I expect to get paid if I move to the US office on a transfer- I will either be a very senior Account Manager or a Junior Account director. Would be great to get a steer. Is it also likely that at this wage I will have 35% tax taken off, this seems like a load more than London! Thanks

My boyfriend and I are thinking about getting a house. His credit score is bad but mine is good, so I want to try borrowing on my income/credit alone. Since he will be living in the house with me, and paying "rent", can I use his future rent payments to get a bigger mortgage? If so, will I have to claim his "rent" payments to me as income for tax purposes? I thought about doing a stated income loan for this, but I don't have the income yet and I don't want to get into anything shady.

I dont think the scale of my problem is huge and I know there are people worse off but I have £700 loan, £600 credit and a £700 overdraft and I owe out about £400, I am thinking of getting a loan to cover most of this, but it seems when I tell the bank I am considering consolidation that the interest rate increases! Shall I say its for a different purpose? would anyone sugest I don't consolidate?

Ok, I'm a complete moron when it comes to taxes. I'm 19, and I've never had to file any taxes, but I've been asked to fill out a W-9 for job where I could make some money. Will I need to file taxes in that case? I don't think I'll even make that much.
