I was just curious as to how you go about getting investors to lay the money into your project or business. And how you go about finding these people that are willing to do things like that? Is talking to an investor like talking to the bank, or is a totally diffrent world talking to an individual investor? Any and all insight on this question would be great and appreciated

The renters did not care for the home. We lived out in Arizona, so we couldnt check on the home as much as we should have. We were out for 3 years and they were NEVER late on the rent. But many things happened. They broke our furnise, I think thats how you spell it, our heating unit. How will this affect the selling of my home? If you need more info, I will post under additional comments.

I have old German Marcs and French Francs and I want to obtain US dollars from them- these currencies converted to euros awhile back but apparently the currency is still legal tender. Is there any company that will exchange these NOTES for us dollars?

I found a company that will convert my old french francs in coins, but they do not handle actual notes, suprsingly enough- so there must be a company that will handle the notes (I'm aware there will probably be a large % fee, but that is okay). This company is http://www.foreigncoinandcurrency.com/...

The problem is i cannot find any company that will convert the actual notes- again, there must be such a company that will do such a service since they're still legal tender (For a notable fee, of course)

I need help. I'm looking to register a domain name, and there's so many people doing it these days....can anyone give me some solid pointers here or guide me to an online resource to answer my questions? This would be for a business I'm interested in starting....it is a membership/networking/information driven business (NOT an MLM), basically I'd provide some info for free but offer a membership with special additional perks and $ saving opportunities at venues my members would be highly interested in.

I'm looking to have my questions answered prior to committing to any one provider...everyone's promising help, but I'm not sure what I really need. Anyone who's traveled this path before me, I'd appreciate any info/advice you have.

Where can you bring in your empty bottles, cans , etc., in CA? The grocery store? At the recycling center, don't you lose a lot of $$$?

How much do you get per tin can?
How much do you get per soda bottle (the individual ones)?
How much do you get per beer bottle?
How much do you get per 2 liter bottle?

This is all in CA.

I have a friend in another country who needs help. A foreigner to her country ran up a huge debt in her name without her knowledge and then ran away.

If she could just sell her house I think that she could pay off all the debt. But her house is expensive and hard to sell. I've tried to help her sell her house on the internet but no dice so far. She lives in Bangkok.

Anyone know how I could find more people who would be interested in buying her house for around $200,000?

Or, I have been wondering if there is some Christian or other charity that has a lot of money and believes in helping people in big troubles like this? I have thought it would be great if someone could pay her debt off by directly paying money to the bank she owes the money. If a charity could do this, then she'd be willing to pay the charity back once her house is sold.

Anyway, I just want to help her as it's a big problem and needs solving soon.

I returned an item to each store, and the refund was supposedly credited back to my visa debit card (from bank of america), but they're not showing up on my online statement, not even in the pending transactions. It's only been two days, but I'd like my money back soon. I should've just bought them with cash instead!

I just moved into a condo and the board whom are volunteers and unit owners do not seem to know what they are doing. They want to keep the hot water temp at a low temp - I find myself running water for 10 mins before it gets hot enough for a shower. They are also suggesting that each unit owner take turns in cleaning the hallways and stairs. I thought association fees is to take care of such things.
