I like the idea of the charity - especially one health related.

Working for an HMO (health-maintenance organization, the companies that provide health insurance to folks) or a place like Kaiser in their business department. Or work in the business department of one of these large gyms, like 24-Hour Fitness or Gold's. Hospital-based administrator. Really, you've got some good skill sets because of your minors to approach any company health-related - GNC or other health food company, like POwerBar or whatever. With the psych and finance, you could work for these motivational speaking organizations. Later, after you gain some experience, you could actually BE one of the speakers and pull down the big bucks giving the speeches! :)

Good luck.

Money, social work and health. Interesting.

You may want to visit your campus career center.
Also look at places like Ameriprise Financial or Smith& Barney investment groups for college internships relating to finance.

I also read that google.com is offering internships in their New York office. Check that out!!!

Also you could look into more social service agencies or even nursing homes in their finance and billing departments. You can also look to work in hospitals during the summer as a medical records clerk or even HR.

You appear to have good majors/minors and surely you will be able to locate an internship (paid or unpaid) that will be a benefit to you long-term.

Also teaching business math at a local high school or adult education are also good 1st job options. Do not rule out the prison/penal system as another options relating to health science.

Best wishes!

That sounds like a strong plan, considering Psychology and Sociology are heavily appropriate. it would want to take you 4 years of undergraduate college, inspite of the indisputable fact that it also relies upon on how some distance you may want to favor to bypass on your study. i'm also a Psychology significant, and a freshman in college. My college has a 6 year phD application, and considering i'm already enrolled contained in the school, i might want to really ought to spend 5 extra years. i'm considering both going for a phD in Psychology(minor in both Biology or Spanish) or going to medical college and growing to be a Psychiatrist. because you're a junior now, I recommend you lookup some undergraduate faculties close to you which have strong psychology courses. strong success!! Psychology is a superb field of diagnosis.

Hospital/private practice psych. accounting/planning/administration, investment firms, stock market... um, places - Fidelity/Merrill Lynch, etc. If you like numbers, finance will let you do anything. If you like psych, go to grad school. You'll figure it out. I was a philosophy/religion major in college, and now I work in Entertainment. Best of luck.
