After looking into buying our first house found out repayments on a mortgage would be £750.00 a month on a average price house, so looks like going to stay renting... and maybe keep on renting to see in the next few years if there is going to be a correction in the housing market, on sites on the internet they say prices of houses will go down over the next 4 years, makes you wonder if we are on the verge of another house crash?? the prices are astronomical at the moment.. what do you think??

I'm new to a job (4 months) and it seems my boss hates my guts. Her tone is rude and short with me. I can't figure out why me?? She is very nice to other people.

She is in her fourties. I am in my twenties. I am in a graduate role.
She keeps telling me im not up to scratch, when she has hardly spent any time training me. I seek out questions, and try very hard, work long hours. I have explained to her i need training but hasn't really done anything about it except complain things aren't getting done and pointing the finger at me. She loves telling me what the problems are, but doesnt train me on how to fix them. I feel like im suffocating.

My gut is telling me, no matter what i do, she wont encourage my progression within the company and may in fact damange my reputation amongst other managers.

Shall i look for a new job? I have considered temping until i find a permanent job. What do you think? Im a warm, sensitive, caring person, confused with why i am treated this way.

We bought our home a year and a half ago and got an 80-20 loan. Then last February we refinanced our 2nd mortgage (the 20 percent loan) to pay off our credit cards, etc. It was a HELOC. Then my husband lost his job and was unemployed for almost 4 months. Even with his new job we are not making enough money to pay everything. We live in Washington State and we can't file bankrupcy because we did that 4 years ago and I'm hoping there's some way we can keep the house? Our credit rating sucks now and we cant refi because were maxed on what we can borrow agenst the house. So here's my question: What would happen if we stopped making payments on the 2nd mortgage but kept up on the 1st? Would we still loose the house? Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

The school I'm applying to asks that I fill out a 'Request for Copy of Tax Return' and mail it to them. This is the generic one for all U.S. residents who pay taxes, I believe, and the school will forward it to obtain a copy of my parents' tax returns should they question the legitimacy of the form I already have filled out.

What year(s) do they want the tax returns for? I have either the option of putting 12/31/05, or 12/31/06, but my parents say they have not received 2006's yet; is it plausible that the school might want 2006's when those start getting mailed?

If it's relevant at all, this is a private high school I'm applying to. The largest portion of the financial aid application was for 2005's taxes, but they'd also like 2006's by February 9th.

Any help would be much appreciated, as all schools are closed for winter break! :-)

company policy is if you don't lose them by the end of the year, you lose them...someone I know and am close to never takes them, even when they are sick. I told them that that is stupid...do you agree or disagree and why?

O.K. my curiosity is piqued, what is this house flipping all about? Something tells me its a little more than buying low and selling high. Is this mortgage buying from banks? Am I on the right track? I would really like to know some specifics about this topic.
