just major in something that you love and want to do. My friend is in the same dillema as u r. She wants to be a photographer and she is amazing at it but she is majoring in sociology because she doesnt think she is good enough to be a photographer. I say youi go with your heart, that is what I did. My parents thought I was crazy but I didnt care, You have to do what is best for yourself. Good Luck!

Follow your heart. I didn't and I had to force myself to graduate. I didn't take pleasure in my studies and as a result I didn't learn much. I mean, I had good grades but I only studied in order to pass the exams and not to gain knowledge that I would use in my work and that would stay with me forever. I followed my parents' advice who wanted my good and recommended that I study something that will help me find a better job later and will bring me a steady income. They were right about that but I am still sorry about the missed opportunity to study what I really wanted.

And then find out what your talents are. Not talents in the sense of artistic talents, but character traits that make you react to events, or communicate with people, or do things in a certain way. In order to do a job in an excellent way and derive pleasure from it, you have to use your natural inclinations or you are always going to struggle trying to fix something that cannot be fixed. Let's say you are a sensitive person and you hate fights. You can never be successful in a job that requires a certain amount in agressiveness. Or the other way round, you are a commanding person that thinks that basically every time you are right. Then you never never going to be successful in a job that requires understanding or tact or empathy. Can you change that? No, I don't think so. You have to accept what you are and use it for your own benefit and the benefit of others. In a way that's the same as following your heart. People who have done that, do what they can do best and they are happy about it. And what is more, money surely comes to them for the excellent job they are doing, no matter what kind of job that is.

So good luck in finding out who you really are.

Me too.
But people suggest me to think about your interest and the salary. Find a balance between the two, then you must know what you should major in.

Don't settle for a job you hate, or even major in something that will lead to that job. Find your niche, and live life to the fullest one day at a time. (I love cliches)
