It seems like no one at work likes me, they just tolerate me until my boss can find a valid reason to get rid of me. Don't get me wrong, I'm a good, hard worker but I manage to screw things up. HELP!

Here's the problem, he used to be in the army and has an army type credit card that he never paid off, it has like a 3000 dollar balance on it, so for them to collect, he has allowed them to take his tax returns every year. Now, does this mean, since we are married, that they will take mine as well? Is there a way I can file separately from him or make sure they don't take mine?

I'm negative on my return this year but I still have a few losses in the portfolio. I hear that I should sell them before the new year. Also, what is the typical logic in selling your losses before the year ends.
Thanks!

I'm not taking over the business, just the premises. There are no fixtures & fittings and so there seems to be no reason for me to pay a Goodwill. Can the leaseholder charge for intangible Goodwill?

I work part time for him and he pays me most of the time by check. I keeps about 1/3 of his payment from the jobs for tax purposes. I work full time, but this is the first time with a part time job on the side. If I include it, will this be considered double taxation? I don't want to be audited, as I am sure that the occassional large deposits in my account (average around $400 - $500) would raise a red flag with the auditor, and most likely drag my boss into it. I'm really trying to cover my hind end on this. Any information is appreciated. I would say the total amount is about $2000 - $3000 for the year. Thanks.

I don't have debt by any means, first and foremost. I am just starting to live on my own and build my credit and stuff. I got a credit card to help me do that and right now my balance is around $600. I can easily pay this off in one month and not think about it again but i heard that won't raise your credit score any. Someone told me that it is good to leave some balance on your credit card. So, I was wondering should I stretch out the payments over a few months? I would like educational answers only please. I want to do whatever is best for my credit score.

Should someone who's consistantly tardy for work be fired? By consistantly I mean every day for almost two months. Or if not tardy, the person does not show up at all, the person does not call when they will be late or not come in.

Should this person be let go? What do you think? I'm wondering because I've been sitting in here for more than an hour wondering where the hell my coworker is.....but then again, I wonder this almost daily.
