Burnt toast. The charcoal effect absorbs the alcohol. I was just told this the other day.

Drink a LOT of water before you go to bed, so that you re-hydrate your body.
When you get up in the morning, drink more water, which won't be hard since you'll still be thirsty.
Then drink a power drink, such as Red Bull, if you can drink caffeine, or there are several excellent decaff power drinks.
Take a Vitamin B complex with the power drink, along with Vitamin C and Vitamin E.
And drink water, water, water.... and if you can, rest as much as possible.
The best way to avoid a hangover is not to drink so much, or drink 8 ounces of water in between each drink, and stick with clear alcohols such as white wine, rum, vodka or light beers.
But we all love a party, and we all pay for it the next day.
The only real cure for a hangover is sleep and drinking lots of water.

4 Jack-in-the-Box Tacos and a Chocolate Shake.. the grease coats your digestive track allowing for easier "technicolor yawns".
The shake covers up the after-taste and can be used as a cold compress to the forehead. If all else fails there are AA meetings in most communities...be safe, not sorry...Peace!

Dr Pepper soda with an Alka Seltzer tablet tossed in.
Also, make sure you stop drinking at least one hour before you go to bed...drinking right up until you pass out is a recipe for a bad one...metabolize some of that booze before going to bed, it helps a lot.

"Hair of the dog that bit you"...
Get something to eat and get your intake of liquids back up.
The 'hair of the dog' actually works just to alleviate the immediate effects, but don't get carried away... a simple sip of it is enough.
Mainly get something to eat to dilute what you drank and keep drinking plenty of water at least. Something with sugar in it usually helps as this goes right to the bloodstream where you have the problem to begin with.
