before, the dollar exchange was $1 = 55.00 pesos but now it has become $1 = 49.00 pesos why is that happening? is there any chance that it will go back to 55 ? pls do help..

Since the sale of my house in California a friend of mine, who owns a Realty and Investment Company, has had my funds in an investment. As part of the deal "payable on demand" was included in the agreement. But for almost a whole year now getting money out of the investment has been difficult at best. At times I have missed paying bills, gone without prescriptions ect... waiting for promised money to arrive. I asked him to return the money in full once and he replied "4-6 months is the best I can do". Communications with him is getting harder and harder, phone calls go unreturned, emails go unanswered. Those funds are all I have. I'm disabled do to 4 heart attacks. HELLP!

With the growing popularity of online shopping, is a mom & pop style used book store worth opening in this day and age? This, plus the fact that we're definitely in the post-literate age, makes me wonder if our idea to open a used bookstore in such a climate is a good one.

I have a website and I know I can drive more traffic to my site through eBay. I don't want to bother with selling on eBay or having to pay eBay seller's fees. I have seen a couple sellers auction off their products on their eBay, and at the same time, advertising the website in which they SELL those products. I don't want to sell through eBay, though. I would like to post my products on eBay and then DIRECT that traffic from eBay TO my website. How should I go about doing this? Am I wrong for not wanting to sell my products on eBay? It seems like it might be the way to go, though... Please give me your thoughts. I'd like to hear from people who are or have been in the same situation. :)

If I purchase some machinery, are the sales taxes on this purchase allocated to the machinery account or is there some other account that I would put these taxes? (ie: a deferred charge account or a special tax expense account?)

I need to know if you are sent a 1099 from your employer does the irs get a copy of the same 1099 or do you have to send the copy? Can you be located on using a 1099 form, ie if you don't want to be found is it wise to use a 1099? Once you get employed and your employer sends in the 1099 what information and who can find you based on the information from the 1099? How long does it take once it is filed to be located? (need to protect my small child from bad family member incase you are wondering)....

Ok im 16 years old and i need some enlightenment on income tax. I worked over the summer and on my pay stubs it had social security and medicare deductions but no income tax deduction. It only says in the corner under "status fed/state" Don't withhold/exempt. So when tax time comes around do i need to send off 10% (the bracket for my gross earnings) of my earnings or what? and tax refunds? ahhhh, so confused please explain from square one.

I have some debt, that I know I will never be able to pay off. Atleast in this century. It's not that I owe a whole lot of money, it's just that I am not the richest person on earth. I have a family and can't afford to make payments that will make a difference in the balances.

I have considered Bankruptcy. I know the laws for it have changed in the last few years. Does anyone have a good website about the terms and all that?

I've been thinking of trying options on Futures. I currently make around 80% - 100% per year return on options on stocks. I usually use a calendar spread on stocks (ie long 2 yr or so. LEAP, right now Jan2009 and selling close (Jan2007) in calls but at a higher strike so that I am profitable if called)

So, let's say I buy a call on 1300 silver at Decembe 2007 for $12205 or 2.44 pr oz.(today's price) . So, by my understanding, I'd have to sell at least 1550 calls. Feb 2007 are 915 or .18c per onze. Is the way I am working it corect?

Also, if I'm called out of the Feb 2007 1550 by chance if silver rises to that price, will I perhaps need to deliver silver, or will I have a chance to exercise my 1300. Or, finally are 1550 silver and 1300 silver so different that a 1300 can't cover a 1550. Those might be weird questions, but I want to understand how much my knowledge of stock options really play into the futures world.

How would this strategy work on futures? I'll use examples:

I have completed my electronics and communication engineering from Mharishi Dyanand University. Now i have taken admission in Indian Institute Of Planning And Management for MAY 2007 Session. From JAN 2007 to MAY 2007 if i do a job in a company to build up my WORK EXPERIENCE. This 5 months experience will be benificial to me or if i take admission in the same institute in AUGUST 2007 Session, then i will be having the time period from JAN 2007 to AUGUST 2007 to do a job and to build up my WORK EXPERIENCE for 8 months more. Please tell me is there any difference in 5months work experience and 8 months work experience. will it be benificial to me in further future and also at the time of college placement. The interest rates and balances are as followed.
16% on 4,000 with a 5 thousand dollar limit. Minumum payment of $125

9% on 5,000 with a 5,500 limit. Minumum payment $150.

and

14% on 11,500 with a 12,500 limit. Minumum payment $250

How should I go about paying these off as far as order and amount if I have about $1100 a month for credit card bills?
