Personally, I think it's a risk of someone stole your credit card and forge your signature. What do you think?

Income=1200/mo. 4 creditcardpayments + 1 unsecuredloan (used for massage theray school) payment= 940/mo. Rent=$475. Not to mention other bills and food. The only way I am making it is thru occasional money and food help from friends/family, tho very few of them know that I am $25,000 in unsecured debt. I used that money to help pay expenses- scraping by frugally, not spending unwisely, just making ends meet for past 3 years on very low income when i was going to school. Also 2 roomates skipped out and I used the credit for 4 months to pay $1200/mo rent that I should have only paid 1/3 of, two years ago. Now I am having to use what is left of my credit to help pay the other credit bills. And having paid no more than a week late a few times while waiting for income, (hard to choose whether to pay late or to pay with other credit cards!),interest rates way high: $8880 x 32.99%, $3750x26, $5400x26, $2600x23, $4800x9. Am in deferrment of $20000 university loan. HELP very ashamed

How do people get your #? We recently got a phone call from our bank saying they turned our card off for suspicious activity. Someone used the number of the card only at wal-mart (we still have the card in our posession) and Wal-mart actually took it!!! Even though this happened a few hundred miles from where we were at the same time (we used it the same day) the bank is giving us a hard time about it. How the heck did they get the number if it never left our sight? Kinda scary, so warning to everyone who thinks it can't happen to them cause they are safe!!!

I was thinking about pursuing a career in teaching. What do you like most about your job and what skills/traits do you need to be a good teacher? I love tutoring kids, but i've never done anything in a classroom setting. What are ways I can get some experience of teaching before I decide to get a masters degree in education?? I have no background in education or taken any classes like that.

I am constantly reading questions for investment advice on this site. Most of the time the people giving the answers don't have all of the information necessary to give advice, are not qualified to give advice, and then give bad advice. Yet people are willing to take this advice and go "do it themself" and pay $6 for a trade that will eventually lose them thousands of dollars.

Why is the climate so anti - financial advisor? Obviously people want advice, that's why Cramer is so popular and sites like this. When is it worth it to pay for financial advice? Can a financial professional add value to your investment plan?

My friend and I were in the fastlane on the freeway probably going 55 mph. the traffic slowed down to 10-20 mph very abruptly and a collision with the car in front of us almost occurred. Traffic started moving forward again, then she (my friend) began to move forward and we looked at each other with the thought of "WOW, that WAS close" (It was for a split second) Then when we looked back to the road, the car in front of us was now completley stopped and sure enough we hit them. We do not know what happened. We don't know if a collision had already occured and we drove into it.We also don't know if she hit the car and then caused that car to hit the car in front of it and so on until 5 cars became involved. We were in a newer Ford truck (full size)I've been told by a reliable source that a vehicle would have a hard time causing that large of a chain reaction going roughly 30-35 mph...Fortunatley, almost everybody involved seemed OK, and no airbags deployed... This is where I need your advice, My friend did not have her policy renewed since 4-5 months ago. The police officer took her old policy number anyways and let us go. She doesn't know what to do and I don't know what to tell her. She doesn't care about the truck but is scared beyond belief about all the other cars and drivers. Her truck was still able to opperate.I need sound advice to help calm her down, She thinks her life is over... Please, honesty is good but don't try and scare us more unless you know it's the absolute truth. Yes she knows her policy was probably expired but she didn't know it happened 4-5 months ago. I know this girl, she is a good person, The only reason she didn't have insurance is because she has no money, She doesn't drink or smoke and is still barely scraping by paycheck to paycheck, All her money is going to her lawyer expenses from a bad divorce, and all the bills associated with it. This just happened today Does somebody out there know what she might be facing?
