My experience although limited is it costs a lot for insurance in any kind of business and especially a business where personal injuries could occur to customers, like water sports. However I would never reccomend a business being uninsured since people are so eager to sue these days. You know insurance may be the greatest racket in the world. They take your money to protect you from damages if something bad happens and charge a good bit to do that. But you only get that rate as long as you never actually use the service they offer. If you file a claim...actually expect them to pay a claim...it becomes necessary to raise what they charged you because you have actually used it. I would rather be in the insurance business myself.

What's "a lot"? Depends on the sport, the location, if there's equipment involved, etc. If you want to rent out jet skis to tourists, and you have 20 skis you put out in rotation, expect that to cost you $$10,000 a year.

First get some help with your spelling, before starting a business. No offense, I just think it's a good idea to make a good impression in business.
