Merchands hope to recover their losses and turn them into profit today. They are counting on increased sales.
But why they call it "Black Friday"? wouldnt it be more proper to call today a "Green Friday"?
Black Friday, to me has sinister connotations, green is hope and the color of money.
What do you think?

Dear Abby,
I am a 31 year old female. I have been with my husband for 6 and a half years. We've been married more than four. That's not the problem. The problem is that at 31, I still don't have a clue as to what to do with my life. I finished high school but didn't finish college. I dropped out several times. The problem is that I've had depression, anxiety and insomnia for a long time. I, also, feel that I have ADD. I have started several projects but didn't finish them. For some reason, I lose interest in just about everything I do. I don't know what my problem is. I am frustrated. I had dreams of becoming a singer and actress, but, sometimes, I think I'm living in a fantasy. I feel like I'm getting old and my time is passing. Amongst my jobs, I have worked mostly as a waitress. I once had a job as a hospital unit secretary and a clerical job at a travel insurance company that lasted a year and a half (my longest). I feel like I've accomplished so little. What should I do?

I purchased a house + buildings on 50 acres 5 years ago and had to take an ARM because they said there was too much land with the house to get a fixed rate mortgage. At the time, the rate wasn't bad. Now, I am paying over 8.5% and looking into getting a fixed rate mortgage. The local banks are telling me that I have to get an adjustable rate due to the amount of land with the property.

Are there any exceptions to this rule in the mortgage industry? If so, where can I shop for a fixed rate mortgage on Ag zoned property?

Really I want to know if it's a case of contacting the manufacturer and asking how much each unit costs and is there any type of minimum purchase amount.

Will they just get back to me with the info I need then we go from there? Can I haggle with price? Will it cost me a lot for shipping etc being a small online retailer?

They are all in the same building. And they are not like Condos where you independently own your own unit.

I have been at my job for a month. After being here for a week a co-worker quit. Although we are the same level, she had been here 12 years.
When I interviewed I was told I would have an office, instead when I started my desk was put in a reception area due to lack of space.
How do I approach the new boss (while being tactful) that I would like the quitters office?
