One day some years ago I got change form a purchase I made and one of the one dollar bills had Sam Walton's signature across the front of the bill on the side where Washington picture is. Does anyone know where I can find out the value of it, if any?

First, verify it is his actual signature. You did not see him sign it, so anyone could have written that. Also, Sam Walton -FOUNDER OF WAL-MART for those who don't know- signed many, many dollars and gave them as incentives for the employees he saw in stores going above the call of duty by ensuring the customer was fully satisfied when shopping at Wal-Mart. I think they were called "Sam Bucks" and they had a specific value, more than the $1 face value, so they could purchase items in the store. But on the collector's market, probably not much.

I would look around, see if anyone was watching, if not, pick it up and then zoom over to my friend Eat an Apple Drink a Snappel's house except I would bring a bottle of good wine because I am not much of a beer drinker. I might buy an I-tune card for my teenage son. And if there was any leftover, I'd put it in the bank so I'd have some to spend later. These days, ya gotta stretch that $100.00 as much as possible. And yes, I have had people steal a lot more money from me than that on purpose, so I would pick it up with a clear conscience figuring that if I wasn't meant to find it, it would not be there! ♥ ☺

Sam Walton has far better things to do than sign a dollar bill! You're getting duped!

I have a dollar bill that I found about 10 years ago that has Sam Walton's signature stamp on the front of it. I put it up to keep just because I figured he had to be the one who used his stamp to put it on the dollar bill. Just wonder how many he stamped and put out there

Never heard of Sam Walton. $1.

If it was Paul McCartney, that'd be different.

It might be worth something IF you can get that signature authenticated. Good luck with that.
