When I worked in a restaraunt as a cook.I was forced to work 7 days a week.12 straight hours with no break.
Told my work was poor.If I was such a bad worker
why did they keep me for three years instead of saying
if you can't handle it you will have to go do something else.
What about the 5 day work week rule.30 minute break
for 6 hours or more.I thought that is the law they have
let you have a break.One day I told them I refuse to work
7 days and I got fired.
A waitress's grandmother passed away and the manager
told her she could not have the day off for the funeral because they were short on help.She took it off anyway and
got fired.Was the manager being unfair?

I'm shopping around for a new credit card company. My Visa Citicard that I've had since 97 is garbage. The balance pretty much stays at $0The interest rate is steadlily increasing (now 28%) and they don't offer any rewards. I want to survey real people. What cards are people using and what are the rates? Please, only the card name bank and interest and if someome has a really good rate and a decent company and wish to share that will be greatly appreciated.

n the second interview the company asked me what I was looking for as far as salary goes. I stated I was looking for $25,000 per year which is $13.03 per hour. They sent me an offer letter today but the starting pay is $12.00 per hour which is lower than what we discussed. Im going to take the job, but, should I say something about the pay and ask to start at what we discussed? Or keep my mouth shut and hope for a raise soon?

i have a second home that i have agreed to have forclose (it's in my husbands name, and because we are married i was on the deed as well) however i own this home right out and dont want to lose it in the process of the other forclosure. my name is the only name on this houses deed, and my question is if i add my mom my dad and my brother's name to it will it be safe? or can they nail me because i have already started the forclosure process.

Pay DOWN one high balance credit card or pay OFF a few smaller balanced ones. For example, lets say I have one CC with a balance of 5000 and 4 others with a $500 balance. If I have $2000 should I completely pay off the 4 or bring the $5000 one to a $3000 balance. Thanks!!

I had paid for the item. Later when i went it again found that the seller was mentioned as NO LONGER A REGISTERED USER. I did not get my stuff ...filed for the claim and its been months i have not even received my refund. This has happened to me twice. And i dont know what to do.
