I had paid for the item. Later when i went it again found that the seller was mentioned as NO LONGER A REGISTERED USER. I did not get my stuff ...filed for the claim and its been months i have not even received my refund. This has happened to me twice. And i dont know what to do. I feel like ebay cannot do anything with these kind of things...they do not take any responsibility. So i think if i buy anything from ebay i will get cheated . Any suggestions ?

Welcome to the wonderful world of eBay fraud. Next time, you should do your shopping at the high street shops.

Buying on ebay is always taking a chance. You can check feedback on the seller - I don't buy from anyone without a long track record and a 97% or higher feedback rating, and if it's under 99% I read thru the negative comments to see if they're just slow ship, or if the buyer never got what they purchased. That doesn't give you any guarantee, but sure gives you a better chance to not get cheated.

If the amount of money is very small, so that if I lose it I'm not out much, I might but something I really want even with lower feedback, but not if it's real low.

The only way you would be able to get your money back is if you happened to pay via Paypal and file a dispute over the transaction - with the person being listed as "No Longer Registered" you can't leave negative feedback on them unfortunately

I have had this happen to me a few times but fortunately I paid via Paypal and was able to make a claim to get my money back

I buy from Ebay all the time and never have a problem... you really have to watch your sellers feedback and if it is a new seller I would not buy from them until they get their feedback built up. Sorry this happened to you but I find a ton of bargains on Ebay and I love it allot. Good luck.

My son was selling an item on e-bay and three of the four bidders were fraudulent. There is a way to check on bidders, I'm sure there must be a way to check on sellers. Resubmit your complaint and keep after them.
