I have been looking for a good job since this past summer. I have a full time job now that pays $10/hour for a security officer position. I was in the military for 5 years and I am cross trained from secretary, transportation, and construction. I have no degree and I got a criminal record now from getting a operating whille intoxicated. Are employers looking at my record? I am being completely honest at my interviews, but no one has hired me yet. I am actually looking for clerical work, not any security work. Is that my problem?

new boss , doesn't know what's required on th e outside of her job just knows what she wants done and in what time it should be done. It is impossible to get the job done in the time she wants it done. Plus no over-time, which was all the time if a dead-line was required.

i have good credit. i want to purchase a business that is up an running completely financing it. since sba loans are guarenteed i want to take a huge amount of money on a business and have the business itself pay it off. for example if there is a pizza restaurant for sale and the asking price is 75,000, i would take out a loan of 150,000 to buy the business and all the nesessary things i would need to run it. what ever i have left say, 40,000 dollars, i would pocket and let the business pay it off. assuming the business does good i walk away with a nice profit and a good business without investing a dime. since it is corportation if it does bad and goes out of business then my name wont be affected if it goes out of business. and i still walk out with all the money. am i missing something or is it just that easy

I'm considering working abroad for a year. As a homeowner what are the pros and cons of either selling the house or renting it out?

Regarding the option of renting are there agencies that can take care of absolutely everything for a cut of the rent? I don't want to be travelling halfway around the planet to find a tennant or sort out a leaky tap!

After you complete a job as an independent contract on 1099, how soon are you supposed to get that 1099 form? It's been a month, and this guy who took me for a bargain on 1099 has not mailed me the 1099 form. Is this normal to wait more than a month?
