i am 19 years old, and I live in Eastern Tennessee. I received a Washington Mutual Visa Platinum card with a $2500 spending Limit. now the thing was...they had me on 0% interests until Jan. 1 and i got this card back in April of this year... and after maxing it out like a month later...i was sending a Minimum of $50 a month...and then after the first payment i sent..the 2nd one apparently got in alittle late though the mail..and now they changed my 0% to 23% interest due to me making a *late* payment. .after that, it enraged me, so I stopped taking their calls and once in a bluemoon i would take their call and they would bug me bout making a minimum paymet of like 200+ cash...so i stopped paying them..and I done did some calcalations and if i were to pay this $50 per month with 23% interest..i would only be giving $4 into the actual card each month..and so after bout 60 years ill finally have it paid off if i started paying on it now..whats the worse that can happen if i dont pay?

Making 75k rent free in an averagely expensive city. Got a job promotion offer for 105k in Manhattan. Not sure what to do...I like where I am now but NY seems like it could possibly be fun, wayyy expensive tho. Any advice? How much would I have to earn to make it equivalent? Pls help me decide.

and taken great care of the home, put money into the home and brought up the value, then found out it was going to be sold soon, but were told not to worry it would be a while, three weeks later you were told it would be going on the market and would be showed while you were living in it and that it showed better with all of your personal belongings in it so please stay until it is sold. Wow! Is it me or is this lady really selfish and also someone who I should not take her words, because she has not kept her promises to me?
What would you do, find another place now or stick around and pay her mortgage for her. Her other tenants have left their homes, not taken care of them, lots of damage, and bailed on paying the rent. But I am still here, having a hard time trusting anything she says. What would you do?

In the city I live in, (in Ohio) I have RITA taxes. I rent, work in a different city. I have no children, and don't use any city sevices ( i'm rarely home as I go to school in yet another city) I was sent a RITA tax form back in 2003- and never heard back since. It seems they lack the punitive abilities/ resources that the fed and state do, so I find myself thinking-------- F*** RITA. I don't care if this is a moral or ethical problem, I only care about whether RITA can do anything about it.

OK..here is the deal. My Dad is a CPA/Accountant and does my tax return each year. I'm 21 years old. I want to get married to my girlfriend but I don't want him to find out. Is there a way to file my return as "Single" so he could avoid finding out?

Also, if some of you would advise me to get someone else to do my tax returns instead of my Dad, to avoid this problem. What would a good "excuse" to tell my Dad for wanting someone else to file it for me?

Lastly, What is the best time to get married with relation to this problem? Like suppose I had him file a tax return as "Single" how much time would that buy me before next year him having to file it as 'Married?" When would be the best month to do this?
