My mother got a post card and called them, she gave her bank numbers and of course they took out 300 dollars. She has yet to see anything from them, and I would love to give them a call, but she threw the post card away, she is a 55 yr (young) woman on disability, and no other income, so 300 is alot to her. Me and my supervisor have been assigned to an offsite project with a difficult client my supervisor is very hard to deal with because she is always worried that the job is not going to get done correctly and on time. I have tried very hard to let her know that even though its a tough project its not impossible and that we can get the job done correctly and on time. She is still very unpleasant to work with. She always stays overtime and comes in on weekends and expects me to do the same even though its not required and our manager has said that we do not need to stay overtime or come in on weekends but she wants to stay and wants me to stay to and if i dont she gets very upset and makes me feel very unconfertable. I would like to address these issues with our boss since the manager has not done anything about it but i dont know how can someone please tell me whats the most proper way to do this and how i can start. Thank you.

why didn't she just tell the seller she would cut her commission by $5000 so that he would credit the buyer for the minor reparairs the house needed?

The house listed at $2,395,000
The purchase offer $2,800,000

The agents commission as a dual agent at 5% of purchase price is $114,000

Offer is accepted, an inspection is ordered, the inspector determines that items that amout to less than $500 are needed to be repaired. The buyer request repairs and the owner declines, the deal falls through.

The idiot agent should have told both clients that she would take a commission cut of $5000 to make them both happy, she didnt even try that approach what an idiot.

We moved to this very nice EXPENSIVE town 6 months ago.
I am renting an apartment. The lease ends in April. I want to move to a town 30 miles away and buy a house and get another job/new line of work.
I HATE MY JOB (local)

Should I...
1. Finsh the lease, move to the new town and get another job and rent another year before trying to buy?

2. Transfer to the new town and commute for 6 months and then look to rent or buy?

3 Try to buy now and get out of the lease and then commute back here till I get a new job down there?

I have an idea of what would be the right thing to do but would just like some other opinions.

I love my job in in IT (tech support & projects, mostly manufacturing / finance sectors up to now). My partner is studying International Development, so may get posted overseas down the track. I have always wanted to get a VSO placement, one day, or find a career that helps people (rather than just increasing company profits).

Can anyone suggest a IT career path, or specific IT skills which would help prepare me for work in developing countries, or the not-for-profit sector?
