All transactions have a buyer and seller right? So what makes the different when watching streaming stock transactions? Also, lets say the Bid is 1.00 and the ask is 1.01. If I sell, I sell it for 1, if I buy, I buy it for 1.01. But if I sell it for 1, isn't someone at the same time buying it from me for 1? So how come I can't do that?

Thanks in advance

I thought about being a nurse but it's not creative enough for me I think...to much science. Then I wanted to do Graphic Design but there's not much of a demand for it. Do you know of any careers that are both creative and in demand?

I'm in California, USA. I am wondering if mistakes someone makes when they are under 18 can affect their credit later on.
Example: Someone is sent to a collections agency and they do not pay.

Would something like that affect a person later on in life or not?

I signed the contract saying I made payment. They were just idiots and did a sloppy job with the whole transaction. Now they are constantly bothering me. The original payment was with a bank check, not a personal check. They are now asking what bank I got it from and who it was address to. I obviously keep the check. I am just wondering can I get in trouble? Even with all paper signed?

I keep hearing that the prices are starting to fall... if I buy now as a first time home buyer, will the prices keep falling? I am wondering if I should wait to test the waters or buy now- if I buy now and the prices keep falling, the value of my property will depreciate rather than appreciate therefore not building any equity. I NEED ADVICE!

We are considering a refinance at a sub-prime lending rate of 9.1% fixed, 50-year mortgage. I'm told that when working with mortgage companies it is a good idea to get a couple different good faith estimates to see if there are any added line item charges that shouldn't be there. Here are some of what they propose to charge us for. Should we question any of them?

Loan origination fee
Appraisal fee
Credit report
Admin & Underwriting fee
Flood cert fee
Tax service fee
Closing/escrow fee
Title insurance
Endorsements
Gov Serv
Title doc prep
Recording fees
Reconveyance fee
Hazzard insurance premium
Taxes and assessment reserves

With so many added fees, how can you tell which are supposed to be there and which are padding the broker?

I am getting a job at my local albertsons next week and my dad just told me i have to join the union to work there. It costs money and i got to fill out some stuff but then i found out from a friend that i also have to take a drug test. This was about a month ago when he told me that so i stopped smokin and finally i was going to be able to smoke after i got hired but now my dad is telling me i dont really have to do any of that stuff till later like 3 to 4 months.(By the way my dad is the manager of the store and thats why he knows all that stuff). So my question is for anyone who has joined the union for there job or if someone just knows about it, do they take drug tests? When do they? and if there is anything else i should know about being in the union or working for albertsons?
