I AM WORKING IN A PRIVATE COMPANY. I GOT AN OFFER FOR HIGH POST IN MNC? MY CURRENT WORKPLACE DIDNT GIVE ME OFFER LETER AND TOLD ME THEY WILL GIVE AFTER 1 MONTH. BUT I HAVE TO JOIN IN MY NEW COMPANY BY 9TH OCTOBER. WHAT CAN I DO?

Explain to the company that you are considering another offer and tell them the time that you must accept by. Tell them that you need their offer letter before that.

If they are unwilling to do this, they are probably not going to treat you very well as an employee. HR departments run into this all the time and should be able to get you an offer letter in less than one month.

If they can't I would probably accept the offer that you have been given.

You can take the new job to seal the deal. If your old company makes a counter offer that you can't refuse after a month, let your new employer know that you are quitting to go back to your old company. (This is the beauty of "AT-WILL" employment.)

At this point, your new company will either wish you luck or they will make a counter offer against your latest offer.

Either way, you win.

However, in doing so, you may hurt relationships. If the professional relationship affects you, you may not want to quit.

As the current employers have not given u an offer, u are free to walk out anytime.
