How hard is it to get hired? What is the average salary?
I'm just trying to find something to do for the time being.

You say "something to do for the time being"...until what? A lot of people want to become flight attendants..there are a limited number of positions .. if you are not serious about it don't waste your time because it will take a while. The pay is fair but you do get to travel. Long haul flight attendants make more than domestic flight attendants and also get to see the world but schedules are grueling at times .. My opinion is stay away from this if you are not serious about the job..

If u really want to do this then go ahead... search on the net about the companies hiring people and the salary they offer. gd luck dear
