Start your day on a positive note, and remain that way throughout. Have an interest in whatever you are doing, enjoy doing it. No job is too menial, it all depends on how you looked at it. Try different ways of completing the task, it makes it more interesting. Take a break when you are worn out, do something pleasant - a visit to a nearby co-worker desk, extend a compliment etc.

performance comes later than involvement. proper involvement is must to understand the task assigned to us when one has the knowledge about his task and even what is the importance of his work for the depatment's , organisation's and even personal development is crucial and this knowledge one shuld have that how his malfunction will affect the performance of his organisation negatively .shuld understand the importance of the work assigned to him no matter how minorl it is but ii it is not done properly then even the result of major will be affected.

for example in any automobile company if a car is being made and if not cleaned properly & it is placed in showroom with lot of mud and dust , although it was the work of peon but it will affect the performance the engineers who have been involved in manufaturing of it. and if that peon will be make understand like this abt the importance of his work he will be over satisfied with his task and will work hard.
what man need to work hard and involve himself in to his assigned task is that how importance does the work assigned holds and a feeling of importance and being wanted
