Hello, I am a freelance computer tech, lately I have been puting out signs advertising in the phonebook, and puting out flyers. Recently I met a female computer tech that works at comp usa, she seems very ambitious about teaming up with me to make something happen with our business. Do any of you have any ideas of how this would work? Or are we just competitors, never to be anymore than that? I have never actually met her in person, just spoken over the phone. Am I just pursuing ulterior motives, such as some fantasy of a relationship with this girl, or something huge happening?

Some pluses are she DOES speak spanish, which I do not. This could bring more potential customers. She also is A+ certified. So what would you do in my situation? We do not want to open a store or anything like that, just team up doing in-home repairs. A great idea would really help! ;)

I'm going to try flipping homes, I know I'm going to need to sell it within a week to a month. I'm not a real estate agent and I've never done anything like this before. So I've done my homework on finding sellers, but I have no idea where to find buyers that are ready to buy within a week to a months time. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I was wondering if I just sand the door using sand paper say 60 grit with no paint thinner or heat gun will the paint chip even more? My biggest fear with sanding using sand paper is that I would have to sand the entire door frame in order to make the entire door frame surface uniform, which would be a hassle.

My other question is that the wooden door has some minor paint chips that I want to fill in. What should I use to fill in the small paint chips in the wooden door?

My fiancee and I currently live in Banff, Alberta, a nice little resort town, but aftert two years of this we have decided to go home to Ontario to get the wedding planned and spend sometime with our friends and families after our long abscence.

My fiancee sent me a job posting the other day for a postion as a Resort Manager at a Family Nudist Resort about 20 mins. outside the city I grew up in.

The Job offers a decent wage, a condo to live in, and the chance to put Resort manager on my resume three years out of college which is an amazing opportunity. The nudity thing doesn't bother me per se, but how do I tell my parents, and her's for that matter, that I work with a bunch of naked people?

Should I take the Job? They called and offered it to me yesterday.

It does not have advertisements on it and does not charge to post a listing or purchase through a listing, yet the owners have been offered billions of dollars to sell it. Is that value based on current income that the site generates? Or is it based on the value that it could generate with ads?

I bought a new house 2 months ago. My "mortgage guy" left me a message suggesting a re-fi.

I refinanced my previous house with this same guy probably 6 - 8 times over a period of 3-4 years, each time saving between $25 and $50/month. That all sounds good. I knocked my payment down some over the years.

What always had me questioning whether it was a good idea was that the term always stayed at 30 years, so even though my payment was lower, I felt like I was back at square one in terms of paying off the loan or building equity. Am I off base?

Or is it a moot point because in the end I sold the other house and paid off the loan while enjoying lower monthly payments? If I had kept the orginal loan, would I have built up more equity? Its probably impossible to answer without know the specifics of my loan amounts an interest rates.

Is there a formula that can help me make the decision on whether to refinance and reset the term or to just keep on with the current loan?

I have a co-worker who keeps shouting out or saying degrading this about me to the rest of the staff; one day we are ok the next day it seems she's trying to sabbatoge my character in the office... I need a job and soon but, that NICE career job I have been looking for always seems to elude me. It takes so long to get into these jobs. My father just passed away last two months ago. I'd like to know the timeline for processing the death claim. I already submitted the claim form and also encloesd all the paperworks as they requested.I did called them to check the status 30 days after I sent the form.
