I work freelance as a photographer. Every week I send an invoice to the company I've been working for over a year. They pay me with no taxes taken out. When it becomes tax time, I'm gonna owe big time. Any ideas how to lower the taxable income?

i've kept copies of all of my clock out slips, which show the hours and the tips declared. this job sucks at times so bad that it doesn't even equal minimum wage. should i go to the labor board? i think there is a law against this, i just can't find it online. please, any help would be appreciated...

Does anyone have some insight to the description below? Is this a dog eat dog position, very high stress, long hours? It was listed as a job through an agency, with compensation in the 50 to 80K range..apparently entry level....What would a trader actually do? I know that I have the smarts to do it, not sure about applying for it.

You can leave but you'll get in trouble. They don't even tell us we have to stay. We just can't leave until they say we can. You could have your shift end at 8pm but you could still be there well after 9pm. We're also only part time.

Myself and the other 2 owners are part of the Board of Directors. The Board decided by a majority vote that only 1 of the owners would have signing authority and deny me that. Since the company owes me a lot of money and they are making decisions of not paying back debt on my personal credit card that before was being payed. Do I have the legal right to still write checks to try and pay the payments on the credit card ?

I have been out of work for 2 years now and am in the process of trying to get on disability. My medical bills have gotten awful and we are barley making it... some times we are lucky to just get groceries. I have never asked for help... but it has just gotten to hard... is it legal to ask for money from other people to help with money? This is so emabassing for me.

Sorry folks a repost I know but the one and only time I do I promise. Very Important question for me is all.

Should I take the Job?
My fiancee and I currently live in Banff, Alberta, a nice little resort town, but aftert two years of this we have decided to go home to Ontario to get the wedding planned and spend sometime with our friends and families after our long abscence.

My fiancee sent me a job posting the other day for a postion as a Resort Manager at a Family Nudist Resort about 20 mins. outside the city I grew up in.

The Job offers a decent wage, a condo to live in, and the chance to put Resort manager on my resume three years out of college which is an amazing opportunity. The nudity thing doesn't bother me per se, but how do I tell my parents, and her's for that matter, that I work with a bunch of naked people?

Should I take the Job? They called and offered it to me yesterday.
