Most management would rather work with the "easy-go-luck"; go with the flow with little to no opposition. If you stand up to your management, you may end up being labled a trouble maker, hard to work with, etc... Clearly, management is faulty, but you seem to be basically the only one speaking out. Is it worth standing up, and end up being frowned upon by other?

No matter what part of the house this happens in ...if a piece of clothing gets left on the carpet, it ends up smelling like cat urine. It's odd though, because you'd think that cats would only "go" in certain areas. This permeates ALL of the carpeting in the entire house. I have to run my a/c just to be able to tolerate the smell of the house. We also had problems with the plumbing - the drains smelled really bad whenever I would do my laundry. That seemed to go away after I started adding a cup of vinegar to each load.

OMG! Im chief bridesmaid for my sister, she is getting married next July. We heard on the news yesterday, that the hotel chain Swallow, has gone into Administration. She was having her wedding reception in one of their hotels! It was booked, and her and her fiance paid the required deposit. I was just sitting here thinking about it, when I really started to worry for her. What do you think she she do? Im not sure if she has phoned the hotel today or not, but she was asking me last night for advice! I feel so sorry for her.

I've been working in the travel industry for almost 10 years selling technology on both sides of the supply chain. I'm currently a group sales manager reporting to the MD, have a couple of people under me and am consistently interacting with senior managers both internally and externally.

Its easy for me to 'open doors' based upon my reputation and knowledge of the industry and my current CEO calls daily with new challenges or a 'talk to so and so' request to get a relationship going which may prove fruitful in future.

I'm eager to now move into a Senior Management position e.g. Sales Director or equivalent and wonder if i have any skills missing which may be holding me back? Or put another way what skills do you absolutely need before these doors open up?

Say that you have your house on the market at 50,000. Then someone is really interested, they have the money, and everything is in the works. The lending institution orders an appraisal and the house appraises for 10,000 more than the asking price. Can the seller raise the asking price after all that has been done??

I mean, people will always need toilet paper, right? Unless they just stop needing to crap. But...that would be sick and they'd explode...unless they had something to totally break down food and materials that they eat...But that might eat through their body too....Soooo...Well I just went WAY off topic...so would it be smart to invest in Charmin Toilet Paper Company...?
