Ebay.
Loook for auctions that aren't already high. The best thing to do is to wait until the last couple of minutes and start to raise your bet. But don't put in a small bet. Put in the highest amount you would pay for it. Then ebay will automatically put in the smallest bid needed to win, and keep increasing it whenever somebody passes you. that way you can't lose in the last couple of minutes.

Price comparison websites are a great place to start, especially for hitech electronics, appliances, toys, etc. Some leading comparison sites to check:
http://www.gosale.com
http://www.shopping.com
http://www.pricegrabber.com
Auction sites are also a good place to find good prices but you often sacrifice warranty protection and returns are almost never accepted. Of course, ebay is the leader in the auction website category:
http://www.ebay.com

Shop at Dollar Store or Walmart, or buy things in quantity and save gas. Shop at eBay too.

Big Lots also check with your local thrift shops. Big bargains and good quality. Also the original 99 cent store. Cosco or Walmart have good deals also.
