Any employee, regardless of sexual preference, can help the workforce by being productive and cooperative and hinder the workforce by being unproductive and uncooperative.

Helping or hindering the workforce really has nothing to do with being a lesbian, or not. Same is true of any group.

They help the workforce by showing the "lesser" men how to get it done and work at a steady productive rate without wasting company time by ogling the team members of the opposite sex. Ironically, this is also my argument from the other side of this issue.

Its all about being professional at your job. I really find it hard to understand what sexual preferences have to do with productivity at work. You might be a confirmed heterosexual but absolutely crap at work.
As long as sexual likes and dislikes dont mix with work it doesnt affect the workforce. Niether hinders it nor helps it.

They help by being well-informed about their jobs, being punctual, being productive, being willing to take constructive criticism, by getting along with co-workers, and by being team players. They hinder by doing the opposite. Oh - but wait - aren't those the characteristics of ANY good worker? Gee - maybe being a lesbian doesn't make a difference at all !
