This could apply to any war for that matter under any administration. The individuals or corporations must have contributed somehow/someway to support the war whether it was building missiles to supplying blankets. I have decided to put this under "Business & Finance" since "War is a Racket" - Smedley Butler.

I am about $200 in debt to my bank and then I have about a $700 rent that needs to be paid, before the end of the next week or I'll get evicted. I have to pay a lady $220 because we were involved in a car wreck. I need help, honest help that I can repay. I just need time to catch up. What do I do?

Im interested in becoming a lawyer because I really think I would enjoy it because I love debating people and I love proving people to be wrong. So I was wondering if I could major in finance and also go on to law school because if I decide to change my mind about law school I would still like to be able to fall back on a major that can get me a good job.

I am a 23 yr old guy comming to California (Santa clara) to make my living as a Computer Programmer.

How much money should I earn for a confortable living.? I really have no idea about US and its my first trip outside India( a lil scared too!).

At present I would be getting around 5000$ per month. So that amounts to 60,000$ p.a

Would this do? and will I be able to save a few?

Serious Replies Please! Your opinion would help me a lot to overcome my confusion.

I am renting a house with an option to buy. But now i don't want to buy this house b/c the other houses in the neighborhood are selling alot cheeper and the landlord wont go down on the price.

I put $10,000 down on the house (not to be confused with a deposit for renting the place). The sales contract says that this money is non-refundable, if the house is not purchased. But I am being told by realtors that she cannot keep the down payment if I don't purchase the price b/c a lease agreement with an option to buy bounds the seller not the buyer.

it would be over the road and working for Werner. i figure id pay the guy more than he could make as a company driver and then pocket some of the money that he brings in for myself.

is this a horrible idea? it would probably be difficult to find a good reliable driver right? does anyone have some experience in this or advice they could offer?

Tricky situation here. Say i'm a freshman in college and will see my bank account grow into the 6 figures very shorty... do I have to give this information to fafsa? I wouldn't be paying tax for this either, so is it possible to hide this bank balance?

I just moved into a new business location. My lease states that I must list my landlord as an additional insured. Is that easy to do? Do I just call my insurance and have them add right away or do I have to wait until it is time to renew? Also, approximately by what percentage will that cause my insurance to go up? I have already had a rate increase because I live in Louisiana (Katrina). It is still affordable but I am scared that adding on the additional insured may cause it to double, which I can't really afford.

I'm looking for a bank that is willing to over-finance an auto loan. In other words, I want to purchase a car worth $15,000, but borrow $30,000 and take out the other $15,000 in cash. Does anyone know of a bank that is willing to do that? I have excellent credit.
