OK...I know...it sounds weird. But lately, I have counted the boxes to ensure compliance with the supposed 5,000 staples in the standard Bostich box. I have found the following...

4,992
4,833
5,027

Do I need therapy? Does anyone else feel this compulsion?

I am interested in finding a credit repair company that has proven to have a very positive impact on your credit score. I know that the best way is to do it yourself so I would not like to hear responses from people who have no actual company in mind. Thank you.

The reason I ask this question is because I recently came across a myspace.com profile (/allsportsmarket) that exlplains how a start-up company from Costa Rica is currently lobbying their novel sports derivative exchange to US congressmen and senior finanical officials in Virgina. By creating a legalize regulated non-gambling method of tying team performance to financial incentives, and then subsequently taxing the transactions; wouldn't any government be in favor of recoveing millions of follars that go offshore every year to sports wagering outfits?

If I am self-employed in the majority of my work, but have to P46 for a particular job, do I also have to pay full NICs on that job as well as my Class 2 NICs for self-employment? Or should tax be the only deduction from that job? Does a P46 make me an employee, or am I still self-employed on that job?

I mean it's really none of their business, so why do they want reasons for times of unemployment?

Suppose a person hasn't worked for 5 or 10 years just because he didn't want to. What's the big deal?

I am stuck in a job that I hate. When I went for the interview it sounded good but over the last few months I am doing work that is nothing like detailed on my job description. I have applied for so many jobs over the last few months and no-body is responding to me! I have also registered with some job agencies who are no help at all. I am at my wits end - can you suggest anything, I don't know what else to do. I am looking for administration work and I am qualified for this type of work. I never thought it would prove so difficult to find a job in this area.

I'm in a situation where my house is currently in escrow. The selling price is less than what I owe on the loan and I don't have the money to pay what I owe. I've allowed the buyer to live in the house in order to allow them to agree to extend the close date while I refinance another property to get the funds. I've already asked for 2 extensions on the close date and the buyers are now threatening to pull out of the deal. The amount that I owe in order to close escrow is the exact amount of the realtor fees. Is there such a form where I could make an agreement with the realtors to pay the fees AFTER escrow closes? That way, the deal can be sealed with the buyers and there will be no more uncertainty as to whether or not the deal will fall through. Anyone have any knowledge on this?

I am going through a bankruptcy and debts, Inland Revenue, council parking fines for previously owned vehicles registered to home and other family addresses. Not to mention being chased by credit card companies, mobile phone etc. to whom I also owe money.

The baliffs came yesterday and threatened forced entry and removal of possessions. My parents told them I no longer lived there and nothing was in the house belonging to me. They were told that unless they pay (which they did on this occasion) property will be removed and the onus is completely on us to prove it does not belong to me.

Clearly its a very unhappy situation to have one's family drawn into one's independent financial circumstances (brought on by a failed business venture and poor health preventing me from taking a 'regular job' although I have never, neither will claim state benefit) I am considering bankruptcy and need to confront my creditors not least to stop my family being harassed. Anyone with experience?
