I am the administrative assistant at the church I worship.

I enjoy it because it's so laid back here. My Pastor is cool!

I work Monday - Friday and the hours aren't bad (8a-2 or 3:30 - depending on day of week. I get off early Fridays).

We have a very relaxed atmosphere here, we even dress down. I usually wear sweats to the office (unless we have meetings), and the Pastor alos wears jeans a lot.

The position itself puts me in a position to meet a lot of people. I work directly with and for my pastor, whom I love and adore as a man of God and as a man (non-romantic/sexual).

I have met politicians, business owners, and others. But more importantly, I have the opportunity to meet the newer members that join the church.

I also have a secondary job here...I am an associate minister.

In this position I come even more in contact with the body of Christ and get to experience people on a totally different level - spiritually.

Back to the AA position...I get to utilize my artistic talents. I design bulletins, special service programs, flyers, etc for the people to see.

CAN'T LOSE WORKIN' FOR GOD!

I Work at The Childrens hospital, it's the most refreshing Job I've ever had. When people see me out and about with my Childrens badge they tell me the story of thier children and what they went through and it's so cool to hear how much we impact the lives of so many familes. On top of that this is the best paying job I've ever had so, I really feel like I am a part of something special even though that sounds a lil cheesy. It's true.

I truly LOVE my job. I am a concrete worker. I build foundations(anywhere from 2ft-16 ft tall) and footings. If my foundation is bad, the whole rest of the house will be even worse. I've been doing it for 4-1/2 years and will continue to do it until it kills me or I retire. Besides, it keeps me VERY physically fit.

I used to love my job, but then politics got involved & screwed it up. Find a job that fits your interests. Do you like the outdoors? Do you like math? literature? You get the idea.
