Try checking with your college to see if there are any jobs for students available there.
I worked for the A/V Department and showed movies in classes and in the theater on the weekends.
It was a great job.

Look around for partim time office jobs, many times hospitals, or Law firms need a part time recptionist, or someone to make a billion copies of documents a day. It won't be fun but 4 to 5 hours and they will probably pay you about 8 to 10 an hour. It's easy money and no stress. So yeah if your bold enough go to a Patient Financial Services of a hospital as ask if they have any part-time work availible, Look up some law Offices in the phone book, The gas Company in town may have some temp work. Oh yeah look for any Temp agencies in your area they may be able to set you up. Apple 1 is a good Temp agency. Hope this helps

Waitressing will make you the most money. I paid for myself to go through college, a car, and a nice appartment. But I worked 2 jobs. 1 during the week and 1 on the weekend.
Try it - you might actually like it. It's a great source of excercise too.

Being a "Server" at restaurant chains, such as Applebee's, Chili's, Islands, etc. If your under 18, you will have to start out as a host, but don't despair....servers have to tip you out at a certain percent (check out their policies). After 18, you will be able to train as a server. It's incredible how much my daughters make in tips, along with the minimum wage. Most of these businesses work around your school/study hours and usually one cannot work more then 6 hours. Check out the benefits the company offers also.

Have you tried sales? Some places let you even have a commission of what you sell. What about a bookstore? What about part-time Nanny to small children? Check your local labor board and the classifieds. When I was in college I cleaned houses. I narrowed it down to 2 well paying jobs. Then I worked in a hospital scheduling surgery. They both paid well.

It's hard to say without knowing why you are going to college. For example, if you want tto be a veteranarian, get a job at a vet's office or an animal shelter. If you want to be a paralegal or a lawyer, get a job in a law office, etc. It would also look good on you resume for experience.

Work as a security guard. You'll get paid and have lots of time to study because most of what you do is sit behind a desk.
Also, consider giving private lessons as a tutor. You get paid a lot (I used to charge $25 a hour) and you are helping someone else.

Delivering pizzas is a good job, fast cash in your pocket, you don't have to be inside hardly any time at all, you get to drive around, listen to music, the time goes by fast, plus you get a check at the end of the week in addition to your tip money. Just don't do it if your car is a gas hog.

Get a paper route or go to a temp agency and do construction cleanup. With construction site cleanup you work in the late afternoon and get paid about $50 to do it. You work today and get paid today. Work when you want to and stay home when you dont.
