A friend told me that he wrote a letter to the credit agency, and they removed his repossesion from his report. Is there a time frame before this can be done? Separate question...
Also...My car was resold at a later date, they mailed me a letter for the amount it was sold for, do i owe the difference? Or the entire amount I had left to pay???

I have found that the rate at my bank is 1.71% which isn't all that hot. I want to know if Fidelity or Vanguard or someone else offers a higher rate. Or, if they are regulated, what is the rate? Thanks to all in advance.

I'm job hunting and there have been a few jobs I quit to take another job, but wondered what are good reasons to put on the applications? There have been a few I was let go/fired for various reasons. Do I list them at all? My last employer let me go for not listing every job I've had. So, this time I'm putting them all down, and want to be upfront and honest with future employers. Is that the best thing to do?

I'm talking mainly about the price of homes. I'm not looking for any rental property or stuff like that. I would prefer a warm beach more south than north. Thanks.

I only wanted to use their trainer but i was told to sign a 3 yr contract to do so. I was told I can cancel within 30 days but then I was told it was too late. When I called, they said then told me that I had to to write them at most 10 days after the 30 day period, if they told me that, that would have been the first thing I wouldve done!!! am a full time college student with no way to pay for it. I am willing to pay a cancellation fee but NO WAY am I going to shuck out over $1000 ! I have checked MI laws to no avail so has anyone faced a similar situation or have any advice?

I have saved 5000 dollars in the past two years and I am a college student. I have refused to buy expensive clothing and I rarely go out. I am trying to save money because I basically support myself by working in a retail store which does not pay very much. I need a stock, or stocks that I can invest in to make my money grow because I want to have a secure future without counting on mommy or daddy. I can't seem to find a decent job that pays atleast 30,000 dollars a year. Someone gimme a solution

i dont mind the job-related technical questions, but usually human resources ask a question like: "what would you say was your weakest point?"
what answer can i give to this question, whilst still portraying myself in a good light? i don't really want to use "well, i'm a bit of a perfectionist ......"

I had an interview this morning. At the end the guy said he would give me an offer by the end of the week. In this case should I still send a thank you letter? If so over e-mail or mail seeing as how mail may be slower than an offer?
