I know that corporations only get taxed on what they don't spend. So, could a single person who wants to start a business register a corporation under only his/her name and use it as a tax shelter in order to eliminate some taxes?

Got into 2nd round of interviews and so far I have 3 questions that ask about the company's work ethic, culture, and significant challenges they may be facing. The benefits and other HR stuff was already covered in the first interview. What else would you ask on a second interview? I'd like to get at least 3 more questions.

Does anyone know if a physicans office can find you financially responsible for a bill even though you didn't sign for financial responsibility. I was told by the collection agency that because I carry the insurance on my son that I am liable for payment.

See, the thing is my ex-husband never helps with my son's medical bills and he took my son to the doctor that day while he was visiting him in Dallas. Apparently my ex put me down as the one responsible for the bill...can they do this? They are threatning to garnish my wages.

Yesterday, I found out my co-worker has a side job. Today, he ate lunch at his desk and then disappeared for 3 hours to work his side job. We are a 2 person team in the IT department and our boss manages us remotely from corporate headquarters. Corporate headquarters is in a different city, so our IT department at this location is quite small..total of 11 people. What's more, the only manager in our department at our location also has a side job. I have no problems with my co-worker going to pick up his kids if they're sick or taking care of family issues. However, it really is irritating me that he's making $ when I have to take care of things while he's gone. What would you do?

My job is accusing me of something, but they won't say what. They claim they have "evidence" against me that they won't divulge until they take me to court. But I haven't done anything wrong. What should I do?

I have started a new job like 1 month ago. Its in a new job field (Auto repair), and accounting.

Granted its office work, but its a totally different area I have worked in. I have a good boss. But I see her getting frustrated cuz there is so many things I dont know. And I am getting frustrated.

It sometimes takes me a few times doing something to get it. And also I am not a very orgainized person. And she is.

I am so scared she will get tired of me, and fire me.
I know I should be easier on myself. But its hard. She told me today that when we get real busy its not gonna be good for me.

How do I get organized and learn this new job faster than I am?

I know someone who lost their house due to not paying their mortgage and there is money left after everything was paid for.
Does he get the rest of the money? Isn't legally his after all his financial obligations are taken care of? Thank You.

Three months ago I paid a $350 bill. The lender shows the bill as paid but my bank still has not taken the money from my account. Is there a timeline for them to do this or do I keep waiting for this to happen. It is a pain in the mule to have that money on the books because I always have to account for that.
