Credit card payoffs - highest interest rate or lowest balance first?

I have 4 credit cards and a loan that I owe $20K. I recently read that I should pay off the lowest balance first, but my husband thinks I should pay off the highest rate first. Any suggestions?

as we all know the demand for nurses has rapidly increased for the past years. plus the fact that nurses really get paid really well. but the thing is, I don't want to be a nurse. Creditor contacting me after bankruptcy discharge-what to to do?

I got my bankruptcy discharge last month. Today I got a notice from a creditor that was on the discharge still trying to collect money. I know that by law they cannot do this. So who do I report them to?

Why am I having so much trouble finding an IT position?

Hi everyone,
I need some good hearted individuals to help me out here.
I've been hunting for an IT Desktop support/networking entry position for over a month and half now. I have 5+ years of experience (all in college), I worked as a Tier 3 desktop support Tech and later as an IT consultant for a grant research project. I have lots of hands on experience, but I do not hold A+ cert or a ccna(although I completely grasp concepts such as subnetting, tcp/ip, lan switching etc). Financial circumstances led to a complete halt of my academic career. I'm willing to share my resume to some of the users here, I will change some personal details ofcourse. I really hope for some honest advice from people in the bussiness of IT, or even out of IT. Keep in mind that going back to school now is just out of the question. I'm 26. Is that old?

How do I file an insurance fraud claim in Texas?

Attorneys mother was in a nursing home for 8 years brain dead with Alzeimers. Also he had a mentally retarded brother whom he took care of (State of Texas paid also) and he took out a policy. Amounts unknown. If he took out "too much", is this insurance fraud?

Am I able to write off Health Insurance Premiums for tax purposes at the end of the year?

I am looking to purchase my own health insurance instead of going through my company. I know that the company takes out the cost on a pre-tax basis, but their insurance is not the greatest. If I do decided to sign up for health insurance, will I be able to use the cost of my own health insurance as a deduction fo tax purposes?
