My daughter is in college and opened a low interest Citibank VISA for college students not realizing that the interest rate went up very high after 6 months. We are making more than minimum payments however I was wondering if we closed the account and contine to make the payments would this damage or lower her credit rating or credit score without the account being paid off prior to closing it?

I have sold my house. Offered on the one I want.
The first time buyers came back to me and got me to reduce the price (after the survey) I didn;t want to but because I want the other house did it.
Now my vendors are refusing to move this week - insisting on the 25th. If we don't move this week (18th) then my first time buyers are threatening to pull out.

If the sale collapses then we will be left with solicitors fees etc. I would really like to move this week as my husband is due to go back to basra on the 24th and we can't go into rented for a week as we have four dogs.

Any advice ???

Okay--heres the deal. My husband and I are saving all we can for a down payment on a house in a couple months....I need some original ideas on how to save money...I know all the suff like stop eating out as much, but I mean ways like "save all your one dollar bills". I have lived with my finace (OOOOPS Ex Fiance) for 2 years now and he has paid the mortgage all that time, I put down the initial deposit of £13,000. Now that he is leaving, I want to take over the mortgage but don't know where I stand. Does he have to pay off half of the debt or half of what has already been paid?
