I would say a couple of years at least. I keep them in a envelope with the month and date and file them. If there is any problems, then you can take them out and look at them. You may not think you will need them, but you just never know. I record all my purchases in a ledger, and usually do not charge very much. If you do not have the money, just try to say no, and you will have a savings and not high debts, on things you probably do not need. I went through that at one time and it was a disaster. I only buy stuff if I have the money, and it is a lot better now. It is amazing how few things you really need, when you are paying cash. Good luck.

Keep credit card receipts to reconcile with your statements, then keep the statements for seven years.

Hi! I normally keep mine for a year in a file folder. However, if what I purchased comes with a warrenty/extended warrenty, I keep the receipt with that paperwork so it's availible if I need it. Hope this helps.

Until they clear your bank. You should check that they match up. Errors are known to happen.
