Im studying architecture at uni at the same time as hopefully having this job part time. I really want the job so any question ideas would be great. Also what questions can I ask them?

They're more likely to want to see samples of your work, and ask how proficient you are with CAD packages such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, etc. Also whether you do 3D modelling and rendering.

They would also be interested in your knowledge of technical details and specs, ie. tanking details, dpc, etc.

Just try and stay calm and "enjoy" the interview. Don't worry too much whether or not you get the job. They may decide to go for someone with more experience, but at your stage, I'd be pleased to lose out only on the basis of experience. In the end, it would at least be a very good learning experience in what is expected from employers. And don't forget to try again with other firms, and apply what you learned.

Good luck!

Why should we employ you? What qualities can you bring to the company? Give an example of a situation in your previous jobs where you had motivated other people? Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
There could be competency related questions too, I'm sure you can think of those, as I don't really understand much about your field. These days competency-based interviews/assessments are becoming quite fashionable with companies...

I think the common questions are the hardest to answer. Here are the ones that always come up in any interview:

Tell me about yourself
Why should I hire you?
What are your major strengths?
What are your major weaknesses?
What salary do you expect to receive?
What prompted your decision to apply for this position?
Could you please give me an example from your past that describes when you took initiative?
Where do you see yourself five years from now?

Good Luck!

You say for a arch. tech. what will be your duties, not familiar with that term being used at an arch. firm.

Do you mean as a CAD drafter ?

They will probably ask if you have any questions. So be prepared to ask some.
