I've gotten into a few uncomfortable/awkward situations because of religious discussions at work. It's my company's poilcy that religion is not supposed to be discussed at all, but it is.

How effective is calling collectors and offering to pay in return for a letter of deletion??

Does anyone know....? I want to pay off this stupid $72 charge for some crap I had a long time ago (not 7 years though :) and I want to contact them about deleting it in return I will pay what I owe....But I don't know if I should try it. What do you think? And what if they try to play hard ball with me what should I do or say? Please help! Thanks!

Where can a 15 year old find work?

PLEASE DONT ANSWER THIS QESTION IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING LIKE MOW LAWNS OR PET SALON. I want to know like if there are any bussiness that hire at 15. Examples: Toys R Us, Walmar, Blockbuster. Oh and I live in the Dallas fort worth area. Thanks

I dont get a lunch or break at my job?

I work at a gas station in Colorado and I work alone each shift that I am there I have never clocked out for a lunch
By state law if I work 8 hours I am supposed to get 2 breaks and one lunch what kind of legal action can I take against my employer

Where can I get Invention funding?

I have an invention concept that is bound to make millions in the Techonology industry, and I need Funding to pay for patent and submittal services. I've already approached "Inventhelp" and they were blown away with what I showed them. But since I didn't have the funds to close the deal, we signed a Statement Of Confidentiality. Protecting my idea from being disclosed by anyone in the company. Thanks for any sources.

Is homeowners insurance in case of death really worth the monthly premiums for this?

If I die before my home is paid off, my life insurance & other moneys will pay off my mortgage, so why pay more? Also, they do have this insurance in case I lose my job where I don't ahve to pay morgage payments until I am employed agian. Now
that sounde like a good deal. Need comments please.

I am in a situation that I need some advice on getting out of... details inside.?

I just recently got hired at a place but my car went out. I am 17 years old and I don't have a car anymore. I don't have any money just yet but also I live 28 miles from my job. I have a sister that lives in town about 5 blocks from my job but when school starts up I am really going to be hitting the fan. I currently work at night most of the time. I really hate staying at my sisters because it isn't the best place to stay. I never get any sleep because of kids screaming all the time and playing, or she wakes me up at that crack of dawn every day. I have already talked to her about it but it still happens. When school comes around I can get to work, but not home or back to school. I need a car but I can't get one without a leg up and my parents can't help me because they are finanially in a rut themselves. Does anyone know of a way out of this. I really want to keep my job because I need the money.

For those who know more about renting and home buying, which is better?

I'm just looking into "possibilities" right now and have never had my own apartment or home, but renting seems like throwing away money. If a person can get a small home that's still bigger than an apartment that would be at a monthly mortgage payment that's equivalent to a rent payment, would owning be better than renting?
I know there'd be other worries - upkeep, mowing, etc. but I don't mind that stuff if it would be my own place.

General opinions or opinions based on the financial knowledge between the two would be helpful.

I am looking into gettin a degree in Medical Billing and Coding, in order for me to work from home I would have to own my own buisness or would I have to work for a company? Would it be possible to work for a company but still work from home? I'm confused, please help!
