I've gotten into a few uncomfortable/awkward situations because of religious discussions at work. It's my company's poilcy that religion is not supposed to be discussed at all, but it is.

I have learned my lesson with religion discussions. Take my advice and only if theirs something that's really really bothering you only to comment then otherwise, you will find yourself in a religious war. Understand people have their own beliefs, opinions and ignorance!

Yeah. I get in trouble too for discussing religion at work.
I'm a strict Buddhist but I work at a Lutheran church as a worship leader. Anytime I'm meditating or discussing Nirvana and Enlightenment, people start to get a little weird.
It kinda sucks but I take it as a fact of life.

Workplace its not a place to discuss race, sex, or religion. Be conscience of your co-workers. There are very sensitive people out there and you cannot determine what is going to affend who. You don't want to put into a position where a harmless discussion about religion turns into a harasment issue. Its just not worth it.

You can report it to your boss or someone who can do something about it. It's never a good idea to discuss religion....anywhere because no one ever agrees and it always ends with arguing.

I can't recall an instance in recent past when we discussed religion at work. Cricket , world cup(FIFA) these are much more fun.

We used to. Catholics and Christians gosh it's like saying democrats vs republicans.

we dont discuss religion at work... why do we?... and its not fair also... try to avoid such situation and if u have gotten into such situation keep silence.

no alwayz avoid religion not only at work but with friends!! unless theyr friends from church or your place of worship
