I don’t want to use it towards my mortgage or cars since they are almost paid off. I don’t want to invest with it.

I was thinking about using it for home improvements like buying a new tankless water heater or air conditioning for my house.

My wife wants to keep it in the bank for when we have a baby in about a year and a half to two years from now.

If you had $4000 what would you do with it?

My company is developing a brand new community, mixed-use development is all the buzz. That's where some residential might be above some retail/office like in downtowns, but all shiney and new. Theoretically, you can walk or short drive to many things like shopping, medical, work, school, etc.

If you would live in such a place, tell me about yourself - are you single, married, with kids; blue collar, professional, student, retired; low, moderate or high income, etc.

I am in retail sales and it irks me when clients instead of stating their promblem , say "I want to speak to Customer Service". Usually I say something to the effect , "to find someone in Customer service to best solve your concern , what is your promblem" What I really want to say is' Tell me your promblem, if I can't solve it , I will find someone that will'. Any suggestions to tell clients?

Here was my schedule:
Sun: 5 hours
Mon: 8 hours
Tues: 9.2 hours
Wed: 8 hours
Thurs: 8 hours
Fri: 6 hours

So, I should have 5.4 total hours overtime, right? 1.2 hours from working over 8 hours on Tues. and another 4.2 hours for working beyond the 40 hours in a week, right? Before I started work on Friday, I had already worked 38.2 hours that week (1.2 of those hours was overtime), so after 1.8 hours on friday the remainder should be overtime, right? My employer wants to only give me 4.2 hours overtime.

I heard you get more back each time you get paid if you claim 0, but less at the end of the year. Also, if you claim 1, you get more money back when you receive your tax return at the end of the year.
